Yes, it would be very helpfull.
But.....
I think that if screenshots are placed, many people will not take the minute it takes to download it anymore, and will tend to judge (and later vote) from just seeing the screenshot.
Just a screenshot can not do any park justice if you want to vote for it (even if it is a very small park), so this might be why Becky does not post screenshots. (just my guess...)
You can lead a horse to water, but....... you can't make it drink it!

If there is to be open-ended judging on this contest, that is, judging without any criteria, then you are leaving yourself open to a greater range of mis-interpreations (i.e. bad judging quality) regardless of whether there is a screen shot or someone opens a park and never say uses "underground view", "remove verticals/horizontals", "remove scenery", etc.
The files are so small, I don't think screens are necessary. I can relate to wanting to see stuff while at work, (i'm there right now), but no screen just gives you something to look forward to when you get home.
I still plan to download and carefully inspect every park for what I "think" is the best holiday park. My criteria, includes not only scenery and layout, but also ride quality. I mean it's an amusement park not a museum. Think of the virtual reality here. If I were to actually visit each and every park, which one would I enjoy the most during the holiday season.
I agree with you about building up the anticipation to rush home and download the park and in normal situations I'd have no problem with that, but I happen to have hundreds of boxes at home waiting for me to pack them

Plus, I just wanted a sneak peek to see what you all were talking about. I didn't want to be left out in the cold.
