I'm not sure the mazes in 21 were as difficult as the creator seemed to think. :P still, a neat idea.

22 was a little dissapointing, but not a bad effort. most of the architecture was decent, it was just all monotone and blocky. =/

I'm not too sure how the 'maze' theme of park TWENTY-ONE fits into the holiday theme of this contest, but it's an interesting concept none-the-less, with each maze leading to the next. Unfortunately, the extremely limited use of any scenery (some wall pieces, lamps & 3 trees) leaves this entry rather plain. Also there were a few missing path segments and a misplaced food stall.

Contrary to what others have said, I kind-of liked park TWENTY-TWO. It has a nice ride selection, but could have used a tracked ride of some sort. The buildings are blocky, but as mentioned before, I don't really have a problem with that. What I would have liked to see is a better variety of wall/roof textures and color selections. The builder only used four colors through-out the park (red, green, light-blue & gold), including one building with green walls & roofs. Some different colors for the trim & a change in wall & roof textures would have greatly improved this entry.

What a treat; another beloved train-themed entry in park TWENTY-THREE. I loved the red-brick train station with the Victorian roofs & the little village in the back, but was somewhat disappointed with the simple loop track layout & the thin village walls (could have used quarter blocks to give the walls thickness). The 'North Pole' representation was also a nice touch. On a side note . . . I am somewhat distressed to see that Santa Claus has incorporated; but in this litigious society, I can see how Santa would want to protect his personal assets.

Just one more entry to go!

Park 23 was nice, I liked the NORTH POLE :D

Just wanted to remind everyone that on Christmas Day, I will open a topic where everyone will post their top 4 parks in any order. I just spent the last hour opening up every park again, taking a screenshot (because I'll make a collage later when this is over) and then trying to narrow my faves down to 4. It has been harder this year for me to choose 4 than other years...but anyhoo, get ready :wait:

Edna always comes up with something kooky!
So amusing to have a flamingo themed whoa belly.

And the Santa Clause factory, whatever was pretty nice.
But, here we go... We gotta pick four of our faves and
Becky's got a tallying job ahead of her. So I guess I have
to review the parks and pick my faves.

I take it for granted that we're not to vote for our own?

And are there parks that did not make the count-down?
I'd like to see the "extras" sometime.

You can vote for your own if you think its one of the top 4, but if you really seriously don't think it is, why waste a vote...just my opinion

As for the extra parks, I'll let you and OrlanDude release those yourselves. You (Wolfman) had three extra parks and OrlanDude had one extra park, thanks to both of you for giving me all those spares to work with

Hmm . . . park TWENTY-FOUR seems oddly familiar, like I've seen it sometime before (possibly a year ago tomorrow) . . . must just be my imagination. Boy, that Edna Mae sure knows how to decorate for the holidays; you should see all the Holiday Pink Flamingos in her yard.

Becky, it was my pleasure to design a few extra parks to help make this year's goal and Thank You so much for holding this contest again.

Here's a screenshot from my unused entry called "Under The Tree":

Park # 23:

Nice one :D
Like Becky said for another entry:

I love train entries. You can't go wrong with a train. Throw in some winter trees. Voila.

I was a bit disappointed that the train just did such a simple flat-track, but still the atmosphere here was really nice

Park # 24:

Like we can expect from Ednae Mae, a real good and funny one!
Nice found to make the neck of her flamingo out of a free-fall tower!!
And I loved the so realistic "frigidare" (I am sure you "dare" to break it open, lol!)

This was great fun again.
Thanks to Becky for organizing it, and thanks to everyone who sent in an entry and added to it, or commented on it.

( I already know which 4 I am going to vote for , though sometimes it was really tough to make up my mind....)

Emergo :D
