Our 2008 Winter Challenge has resulted in a tie. We have never encountered a tie in one of these contests, so we were struggling what to do. No matter which way we analyzed the data there was still no certainty as to which park won. Mort, in a Jolt Cola induced moment of clarity suggested we hold a run-off voting. It would be better. We did not change any of the settings on the parks that were submitted. If they were set to day only or night only, we kept them as the park designer submitted them. To change any settings would be us deciding for the park maker what is best for their park. That is not what these contests are about - how we can make a park look "better". That is the job of the park designer. We only take screen shots of what was submitted, as it was submitted. To do otherwise could leave us open to a charge of favoritism by intentionally making one park look better than another.Hmm, that's a tough one. Park C is shot solely at night and park B only during the day. :/ It would be better to see photos of the parks during both day and night to get an overall feel for each park.
Feel free. I think that some may like to see the parks in operation. That would be the job of the designers for the reasons stated above. How about we make VIDEO'S OF IT
