Rct2 Will Not Work In Vista

hi
in my other topic i was on xp the now pc crashed and ive had to go with vista again

right when i try to load the game now it comes up "unable to intalize gaphics system" now

it never did this in xp why in vista????

my specs are

intel celeron m 530 @ 1.7ghz
windows vista home basic
1.7Gb of ram (i know its a bit wierd)
sis mirage 3 graphics (its a sis bundle) model: 672 series

i havent install any updates no extenshion packs

It's not wierd if you are utilizing onboard (motherboard) graphics - it eats up your slower system memory.

But...

Have you tried running RCT2 in XP compatibility mode?

disable visual themes for rct2 and run it in compatibilty mode.

I have the exact same problem, but i use xp.

I recently upgraded my graphic card to a ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO AGP and directX 9.0c...

And i messed away the driver CD, im desperate about where to get updates...

Did you go to the ATI website?

Go to amd.com, go to support and drivers, under graphics support, go to "download graphics drivers", select your specs and download.
I have ati graphics too, thats how I know.

Edit: oops I posted this before I read Sambos.
BTW< I recommend CATALYST program if it is compatible.
