Did you already try to retrieve the c.d when you're on a saved game? Well, rct2 does work...

Yeah, I've tried that. Once you've loaded RCT2 on a park, you can play it without the CD!. It's great!. I hope that's what you mean.

everything is loaded so off course you can remove the cd.
I tought that you normally shoulds need the cd but that they build in a thing which makes rct only load when you have the cd in your player.
that thing does the rct no-cd patch remove

This one time I was playing RCT2 and I exited the game, then later i went to put my Unreal Tournament game in and it was already in the drive. I burst out laughing. I tried to make RCT2 work without the CD again but it said I had to put the CD in to play it. It was really strange. Anyone know what happend there? LOL

You also only need the base RCT2 CD, even if using expansions. Of course, No CD cracks are even better.

Funny. I often go to boot up RCT2, get it up and running, and then see the CD in front of me, on the desk.

^But too bad you need the CD to start the game. All this trick is good for is if you don't like the game's music, and have your best CD handy.

It isn't a trick. It is the No-CD patch combined with forgetfulness.
