The April 2006 VP RunnerUp is Sikinos by J K!

Ultratycoon (one of the judges) had this to say about this great park:

The greatest aspect of this park was definitely the landscaping. The foliage really complimented the colors of the buildings in each of the different areas. The architecture was not the best I have seen but it was consistent and carefully used. There was just the right balance between amount of space occupied by natural objects and artificial objects. The rides were also well placed and interacted with their surroundings very well. My favorite ride was the little pink coaster, Cadmus. It had a great layout with good speed and nice stats.

While the coasters themselves were great, I did not like the custom supports that were on the two largest coasters. They just did not “connect” to the track very well. If you had used some centered supports instead of all quarter tile supports you might have gotten a better look. Another downside to this park was the absence of food/drink stalls. There were some beautiful eating areas but nowhere to buy refreshments. Not everyone carries their lunch with them when visiting a theme park.

Great park! But I don't like the first turn of the hyper coaster, it's too large.
Apart of my personnal oppinion, I really like the park. Congralulations for your runner-up!

Great work, JK! I really like this work, especially the Beemer. You've gotten really good in a short amount of time. Let's see some more quality work.

Congrats J K on your runner-up. It's nice to have not only a winner but also a runner-up in the same month. That hasn't happened in too long. I really enjoyed judging this park.

I loved this park and really enjoyed judging it. The landscaping above the water was very well done. The archy was interesting and did not dominate the park. Each themed section was consistent. It was just a very well balanced park.

My only real complaint was the layout of the coasters. The junior was very well done but the others were sub-par. And, as has been mentioned before, the supports could have used a little work.

But overall a great effort and it was great to see it make runner-up.

Nice work JK!

Darn it, your name always makes it soung like "good work, just kidding" when this park is awesome! Just from that screenshot alone I can see you use loads of colour in your parks, which is very hard to blend, but you pulled it off! :D

I liked your park alot JK!. I loved the architecture and the size of your park, it was just about right and the architecture was used very well!. I also liked your rollercoasters especially your hyper-coaster which had one of the best layouts I've ever seen on a vacation park!. I also liked the layout of the paths. I think you did an amazing job on your entry JK and you deserved at least a runnerup. Well done!.

Let's see if someone can point out what I did in the park.

Great job, my man. Congrats.
