Oh, and don't forget to block the peeps from getting onto the air field and destroy it all at the beginning to get some free money to build with.

Maximum capacity of a park is determined by number of rides so go ahead and duplicate rides in the park. Also if money gets to be tight, close the park, push them all out the door (block paths with signs so that they exit faster), then reopen the park. Make sure your entrance fee is set high enough. You may have to do that a couple times.

Thanks. I'll give it another try tomorrow. All the online helps I've read say this is an easy one to win. If they get harder from here, I'm doomed. I have been clearing out the air field for money and, as I said, sometimes I have quite a bit without borrowing all that much, but usually have to budget pretty tightly.

For example in the "Beginner" section, in my opinion Crazy Castle is the hardest to beat, but it's the first on the list.

sorry about that you guys
back on topic, amity airfield is hard. try making less costly rides more than big rollercoasters. it takes up less money maybe used for advertisement
[COLOR=purple]Does that mean advertising is important? If so, for the park AND rides AND food? I read somewhere that building the new rides is advertisement enough. By the way, today I tried again, and failed again, to win Amity Airfield!

I keep reading that advertising the park easily brings in 700 people.
700 people will come only if your park is 700 off its maximum capacity.
Maximum capacity is a function of the number of rides that you have, multiplied by a factor caused by your park rating. So you need lots of rides and good park rating to get the guests flowing in.
One thing that can drop the rating in Amity Airfield is that peeps wander off, and get bored and/or tired and start thinking about going home.
