We have a great VP runner-up this month! We are proud to announce the February VP runner-up is Gabriel’s Land of Plenty by Mama Bear. Mama Bear once again designs a park with someone in mind…this time the park is for Lil’ Gabriel, Todd Lee’s newborn son!

You can get this great runner-up park HERE. I warn you all that there is a great deal of custom scenery in the park and the download is quite large, but the park is well worth the download!

Gabriel’s Land Of Plenty – Mama Bear

Here with have another of Mama Bear’s wonders, created for Todd Lee’s new baby, Gabriel! As you’d expect, the park is brightly coloured and uplifting, with masses of areas, all ready and waiting to be explored.
The architecture is amazing, with all sorts of little details that you don’t see at first, but then realise are there, making the park even more fun to look through, as you never know what you’ll find next!
There is an amazing snow area, with bright rooftops, and sparkling fountains, all designed to keep a baby rapt. There are glimmering snow crystals that you see as rollercoasters whiz past them.
And who’s there to keep Gabriel entertained? Why, the whole RCT2.com staff, as well as plenty of members, all dressed up in entertainers’ suits (I would just like to say I don’t go dancing in a panda suit in real life…honest!).
As you walk around, you will find two giant storks near the station of the Gabriel Express, which is a remarkable little train. Leading through mini worlds underground, it shows a variety of decorative theming.
One of my favourite coasters was the Gummi Bears, the brightly coloured bears flying round the tracks trying to escape being eaten! I don’t think they will get eaten though, there are enough orange and green sweets lying around to keep someone occupied for a long time!
The Ribbons & Bows woodie makes your eyes burn just looking at it! It will take you on a hair-raising ride near and around the Ribbons & Bears hotel, situated to have a beautiful view of the coaster from many of its balconies.
If you want a break from the wonders of the park, why don’t you take a stop at the Teddy Bear theatre, with his rotating nose? After that, you can take a ride on the Black Swan Lake, which will take you in the direction the terrifying Nightmare coaster. With it’s steep drops and sharp turns, it’s sure to give yet an intense ride, so maybe Gabriel had better give this one a miss!
If you can’t make your mind up as to where to go next, at the very centre of the park are the stork nests, so why not take a journey to the top and take a peek at all the things you’ve missed? They’re too many things for me to cover, so you’d better get exploring!

The park is situated in the delta of the river "Lime"(I used green water, LOL).

Next to the entrance area there are 7 different area's:
Sweetsville
Ice cream Valley
Nightmare Cliffs
Fruitington
Creepy Critters
Baby Shower
Fantamagica

For a screenshot tour through the park have a look HERE

Enjoy and have (RCT) Fun!

All's I can say is this park is superb, truely a unique work of art! I can't thank Mama Bear enough for the enormous amount of time it took here to build this park for myself and Gabriel. As Turbo said, this park has intricate details, infact, you don't even notice much of it upon first glance. Mama Bear has truely taken RCT2 to the next level. You just have to see it to believe it!!

Thanks Mama Bear, and congratulations on winning 'runner up'.

Todd :)

Thanks TPF, Iron Dragon and Todd Lee!

And....thank you Turbo for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed the park!
I personally feel this is the best park I made sofar. I used a mix of RCT1 and RCT2 building techniques in this park(hadn't done that before in RCT2 parks!) and used almost every tile both on the surface and underground of the 128x128 map. There are 17 underground miniworlds the underground coaster called Amazing Underground(no, Turbo, not Gabriel's express, that one does stay mostly on the surface. Can't blame you though, there are so many rides! LOL) visits....

Make sure you save your objectdat file before you open the park though! I made four tabs especially for this park. Two contains objects made by ToonTowner, Makonix and Couger (thanks guys! I really love your objects!) and two contains objects I made myself. Some of those are just conversions of RCT objects, some are new....The last two will be released in about 2 weeks on RCT Fun. Next to that I did use AE's rides and scenery by other designers like Fisherman, Buggy, Bladex etc. etc. I do like to thank all of you! You really make RCT2 THE game!

Well, I do hope you all will enjoy Gabriel's park and I hope Gabriel when he is old enough will be able to enjoy it too! (I already know his father, our Todd Lee, did!)

Thanks again!
Mama Bear

Edit: Todd Lee posted while I was writing my post, LOL

Just downloading it.

Also congratulations Mama Bear!
As i have heard a lot of love has been put into this park
This is like rct2 should be, not trying to beat each other to say, "we got the best park" its to show how much you like rct2 and those hidden talents you never thought you had.

As i have noticed i used to make the most pathetic parks ever!
But now i have started to use walls and roofs and all that other stuff in a way that i never thought possible.

Edit: Just loaded it and i thought WOW :woot: That is so bright!

Everything about that park is perfect except for the supports on dragon slayer, there aren't really any there.

Possibly one of the 10-15 best RCT2 parks I've seen, because of the creativity, colours, fun, everything! Really deserving more than a VP runnerup, especially seeing how it, atleast in my opinion, was a lot better than Polder Kolder.
I especially liked the Nightmare area, with the great and daring architecture, dark and yet fun atmosphere and the Mala-reminiscent "Nightmare", with the skull supports and all. I liked the mix between LL and RCT2 architecture, that's something I'd never think about doing.
I don't think I've ever seen 1/4 blocks used so well either, the giant storks and the whale, just to mention some, was jawdropping. The "Amazing Underground" was, well, amazing. There is too much to mention it all in one post, and I'm surprised the sprite limit wasn't reached.
