Parking
by Levis
Website Version

Most of you will know that you can use zero clearance for many things, I will show here a new way to use it, the final goal will be to make a parking that works.
Here is how we do that:

First we make a little round with the track:

Screen

we remove some pieces, so we have to piece of track that go in opposite direction near each other like this:

Screen

we make the turn also now (it goes in opposite direction of the incoming track)
now we go to zero clearence en and put it on.
Now we finish that piece of track so it goes into the other track but in opposite direction.

Screen

This piece of track you see white here must not be build.
First we press restore clearence now. But if you want to test the attraction now you get an messege that the track isn't completed yet. So we need to chose an oparation mode that doesn't need an full track, you could chose power lauch, but that one breaks down very fast so I chose boat hire mode. So we go to Edit ride stats and search our ride in the list, this is what you will see:

screen

and we will change it in this:

screen

Now we see the cars go to the end of the track and turn around and go to the other track back. This is what we need for our parking. The only thing we need to do now is to make more of this things so the parking has more spots and the ride should be made invisible.
So we will put the track type on crooked house and theme it a bit. This is what you can get than:

It was very confusing and I had a problem with many error trappers but I got it working at the end and it works really well. Thank you for writing that fantastic tutorial Levis!. ;)

I've had this in mind forever, but not exactly like this. I never got to it myself, but you've done a great job with it! Great find, Levis.
