for most of us it seems that the entirety of RCT including this website is dieing off.
though there will be many who continue to play the majority is since no new rides
or no new post have been made in the four months that i joined. (my old chicago post is still on the first page of the disscusion)
it seems that the fatal end is near as most people come to this website to take
the more important projects home with them. and yet those projects have stopped being made.
so it is that the projects have stopped being made the site has stopped being updated,
it means that most likey by the end of the year this site will be an abandoned ghost town.
this is my final post because my computer with the files i made crashed.

The posts will stop coming

The updates will stop coming

The people will stop coming

and all thats left will be a collapsed shell of its former self

This is Kilosandwich signing off, perhaps forever.

People don't post their projects - True. Site not being updated - False. We have let some features go because of lack of interest, but updates happen. As far a people not coming here - somewhat true. On one hand we get new registrations (47 so far this week), but only a few post. Part of why people leave or don't post their work is because we don't host their parks or their screenshots. Some sites still do this, but we have more security concerns than they do. It's a choice. We still have the Vacation Parks - but people don't submit. The last submission was for a park that Staff couldn't open. We have had contests, but people don't enter. No one wants to do any work - that's a fact, Jack!

Yes, interest in the RCT series is waining. Yes, there is not a lot of activity in either this forum or in the community.

However - the place here is what you make it. If the lurkers post, members show their work, work on projects together, and enter contests - the place can be active again. We just provide the framework, location, and support for the members to do these things. If a member wants to take on a project, or run a contest - PM me.

Ok, I just tried to vote that last post up and I got a message saying "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day."
Weird. Does that happen to be a feature that was removed due to loss of interest?

No. It's a feature that is somehow there - but doesn't work.
