I'm sure you will have noticed that the board has been upgraded. :)

You will doubtless also have noticed that Steve Franks Track Packs and the Ride Exchanges are missing. The Downloads system is also offline. Posted Image

We are still working on these and we expect that they will back within the next 7 days.

When the Ride Exchange comes back, it will be in beta mode, with only beta testers allowed to use it. If you want to be a beta tester, contact me with the new funky 'Messenger' system.

Feedback on the new boards is welcome by replying here.

Whoa, I come back for a visit and the new board looks way different. I don't find it much better or worse than the old one, but it's still not bad. However, I can see how long-time members would want a different interface to an extent.

P.S. The only thing I don't like is the avatar and forum rank placement. However, so far, not bad.

Yeah, and one thing, could you change the wording of the "view new content" button back to "View new posts" or whatever it was before... Maybe make it stand out a little better, too... but this new board is sleek and sexy. Good job! ;)

The problem with doing that is that the New Content feature allows visitors to see any new downloads, links, and other features of the board, in addition to the new posts, so it isn't just a new posts link anymore.

It is one of the most difficult things to get one's head around. If you're looking at the Downloads system and click 'View New Content' it shows you new downloads that have been added, when looking at Members and clicking, you see new Members, etc.

To see the posts in the last 24 hours, click on 'Today's active content' just above the stats on the main page.

Oh, I gotcha... that's actually really cool, that it's new CONTENT now, not just the posts. Cool.

The Ride Exchange is now loaded, but nobody has permission to use it, while setup is completed.

The Downloads System is back online. Steve Franks Track Packs are open in their new home. The track packs will be added over the next few days, there's just 10 to start with.

I didn't realize the site was back up as I always enter through http://rctspace.com/ however that page is still showing

"RCTspace.com (Downtime)
Sat, 14 Nov 2009 05:31:09 +0000. The sites in the RCTspace network are down at the moment while we carry out routine maintenance. Please call back later."

We might want to fix that
