Basically, this glitch allows you to build the coaster you last built and saved, regardless of track type and if the track type has already been developed or not.

First, act as though you're going to be lazy and smack down a prefab, but don't really. Now open the coaster window and select another kind of coaster to build. Your coaster footprint will now look possibly familiar. Click somewhere and you get something like a Suspended Looper, an Air Powered Vertical, you know what I mean.

Don't go into detail with modifying it though, as the game will catch on and boot you out. And don't save either, this will probably screw up your scenario.

Again, I have known about this glitch for years and not even in RCT Deluxe has it been fixed. I think since 2000 to be precise...

uhh...

What? I didn't quite understand that, although i think I get what you're trying to say. Either way... I'm surprised this glitch hasn't been discovered by anyone else.. are you sure it's not just your game or something?

Nope, I've tried it on my copy (RCT1 with CF and LL), a friend's copy, another friend's copy, and my copy of RCT Deluxe. It's in every game.

Tutorial for the glitch in Forest Frontiers.

1. Make like an inverted hairpin coaster on an LL scenario and save it (This is only an example, any coaster type will work).

2. Go into Forest Frontiers.

3. Open the Wooden Coaster menu and select Woodchip. Don't place it down, keep the outline open.

4. With the Wooden Coaster menu still open and the outline still open, open the Steel Mini Coaster Menu. You will now see an outline resembling the coaster you last saved. Click so it builds the coaster.

5. Congrats, you have a coaster in your park before it was researched!
