If its signs where you can change the words in game, I cant help you there. But if you want to make a custom sign like a logo or something, you insert the picture into object editor, then click the skew button so it fits the isometric view. Sometimes though, it messes up the graphics and is hard to see after you do that, so you might try editing the image in paint instead.

I can't believe, after all I've tried, that that is the way to do it. Thank you , thank you , thank YOU!
Um... where's the "scew" button in object editor, and if that doesn't work, any idea on a good "paint" tutorial? Thanks againg.Wait, hold on... I found the skew setting in paint (so that's what that is for!) However... can anyone tell me: There are two boxes; one for horizontal, and one for vertical, they each need a % put in them. Can anyone tell me what percent goes in each box? I would be so grateful.Thank you

Ironically, there's a tutorial on this that my friend and mentor just posted at his site.
It's pretty detailed, even I could follow it!
From what they tell me, they're planning an entire series of these.
You can check it out here.

It's not a percent of horizontal or vertical - it's 27 degrees of skew...
