About 18 months ago.....WOW
The October 2007 VP RunnerUp is Sagalax by Parkitect!
Some of the comments from the judges:

Judging Sagalax was kinda hard (especially on layout and ride selection) because in some parts of the park it looked peep friendly, but other sections seemed like they were just meant to be looked at. It was almost more of a landscape than a park, and I think this wasn't quite the right contest for it to be in.

HOLY MOLY! This park is really amazing. The themeing and creativity is definitely spot on here. So many different things to look at you will probably see something you didn't see before every time. This is your best work yet dude and great job on finishing it!!!!!

The architecture for Sagalax was just mind-blowing. The ride selection is where my opinion of Sagalax drops about 10%. There have got to be more rides than that. Theming was immaculate. That’s all I have to say.

Due to RL I have not yet been able to view the whole park, but I have seen some screens of it here and on various sites, and I thought they were really amazing!!!
(will try to review it later, and in the meantime I hope you will have fun with next creations...)

This is one of the best parks I've seen in a while.
Imaginative, innovative, and it definatly breaks the mold
of the usual RCT 2 type parks. I'd like to build something using
this bench. Wonderful job Parkitect! Keep pushin' the envelope! Awsome!

Are you asking for permission to do a derivative park? It's not a problem with me. I can't speak for RCT Space or the runners of VP.
