Sorry if this is the wrong forum. ^^;

Its been a long time since I've played Roller Coaster Tycoon, but I've noticed in RCT2, the Junior coasters no longer have the options of a big steep coaster. I really miss those, and I was hoping that somewhere theres been a recreation or something of that. I'm new to the whole "new rides and stuff" stuff, though I still request this as a total newbie here. ^^;

Sorry for reviving this, but I want to answer it. Anyway, no there couldn't be because you'd need to edit the ride's main data, the one which allows slopes to allow steep slopes, and that would be too hard. But the spiral coaster has steep slopes and curved lifts, so use that!

For that first part, the tracks are all hard-coded so that can't happen. For the second part, that could probably work.

Just hack the junior coaster on to a watercoaster track for the steep drop.

Well, that could work, except the water coaster doesn't have the curving lift hill that the junior coaster does.

or you could always hack the vertical coaster's drops to go in for the junior coaster. Make a curved lift hill, then stick a vertical coaster track, and you can go beyond the normal steep drops.

meh. Anyway, bottom line is: Chris sawyer made a very good coaster, the spiral coaster. Learn how to use that. Cuz junior coasters are just that: Junior. And if you can't use spiral coasters (you don't know how), then use LIM Launched. Make a curved hill upwards and launch.
