It's now time to challenge people within 3 rungs above you with a contest of your choice! Keep in mind that you can't challenge someone with a game they do not have. Please make sure you check that first.
Also, please look at all the challenges already posted before you begin...whatever challenge is first posted to one person, that person must accept, therefore, you cannot challenge that same person.
The actual contest begins when the challenge is posted to someone, but all challenges must be made by February 1st! The deadline for the entries will be February 28 and the entries must be emailed by that day, midnight EST to rctspacecontests@gmail.com.
I have ordered (seeded) the contestants...and I'm sure everyone will have a comment or two about that, but I'm not changing anything, the point of the contest is for people to move up the ladder and by the end of the year, you should be where you think you belong.
Remember that you can challenge anyone within three rungs above you with whatever you want, for example: build a 50x50 mini, build an unthemed wooden coaster, build a themed water ride, build a structure, and it depends on what verson of game (RCT1, RCT2, RCT3) that they have and you must state which game the challenge is in.
If you don't want to challenge anyone, that's fine, but you will most likely move down the ladder if you don't.
The challenge has to be accepted. You can't post and whine and say "how bout we do this instead?" OR "how bout we do RCT1 instead of RCT2?" or whatever....YOU MUST ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE AS IT IS STATED. There is no wheeling and dealing here. CHALLENGERS MUST BE REALLY CLEAR AS TO WHAT THE CHALLENGE IS, AND PLEASE KEEP IT AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE. If you get challenged, and you don't make an entry...you will forfeit and lose, thus moving down the ladder.
Once all the February entries are received, I will then set up a poll with the entries for each individual challenge. All forum members, even tournament non-participants can judge in the polls. The poll will be up for 10 days.
Everyone will be re-slotted on the ladder based on their win/loss record and seeding will be secondary to that. In mid-March the process will begin again, but with the ladder we ended with from February and I'll announce signups for anyone new who was not involved in this February contest,who wants to sign up for April. I'll also have a new challenge topic and new deadlines.
Don't wait too long to post your challenge or you may be left out altogether. We do have an uneven amount of contestants, so depending on whether everyone challenges this month, one person may NOT be able to compete with someone.
