Much anticipated, long awaited park from the Construction Zone....I present to everyone the November 2005 VP RunnerUp park by sfgADVking!
The VP was unique....this park is realistic....something for everyone this month!
Todd Lee (one of the judges) had this to say about this great park:
Six Flags Colossal Heights is a beautiful rendition of a Six Flags park! The highlights, of course, are the coasters. The layouts are realistic with superb custom supports to add that extra splash of class! Jokers Jinx and Medusa are the 2 coasters that seem to stand out above the rest. When you picture Jokers Jinx, you can't help but think of a huge rats nest of twisted track and support structure... Well, that's exactly what SFGadvKing gives you in Six Flags Colossal Heights! And Medusa, well, it's a B&M Floorless, what's not to like...
The themeing is a few steps above Six Flags standard in the real world, but that's the beautiful thing about RCT.. having the ability to take your favorite park, and make it your own, creating the park you've always wanted it to be!
The only thing that I can think of that held this park just shy of the V.P. mark, is the timing of the block brake system. A few of the coaster trains have that sneaky little pause at the top of the lift hill, as they wait for the previous train to clear the block.
This months V.P. was a VERY close race, so congratulations to SFGadvKing on being the Runner-Up! Six Flags Colossal Heights is definately a park you can be proud of!

Congratulations sfgADVking on runner-up this month with a beautifully done Six Flags Colossal Heights . Although I haven’t got all the way through this park yet, I am working on it and enjoying every minute of it. Great attention to detail and the themeing and the landscaping looks excellent. I'm glad I wasn't a judge this month that would have been a hard call. Thanks for sending it in and sharing your RCT artistry with us.

The main issues I had with this park were the coasters. They really aren't that realistic and their layouts aren't either. Joker's Jinx was good, but Medusa and the Arrow looper had awful layouts. The flyer wasn't realistic either.
Good job, nonetheless. I understand that it is very hard to complete a park like this. I've abandoned a Six Flags project, so congrats on building all the way through.

Jokers Jinx was very well done, as was the giant woodie near the entrance. Some of the layouts were 'meh', but the park certainly did have the SixFlags feel to it. Which is what you were trying to do i suppose, the archy was okay. Too simple in places, but in places very realistic and nicely done. The park had some very good aspects to it, seemed a little rushed to be honest with some of the structures. Overall: 6.8/10
Can't wait to see your new park, its looking fantastic.

I must say this wasn't the most impressive park I've seen but it certainly is a very nice one. Very realistic park layout I must say. Great job on the custom supports.
Man, how long has it been since there's been a VP Runnerup?

Congratulations sfgADVking with this Runner-up!
I already enjoyed a lot of this park when you were building it, and I also enjoyed it a lot now it is finished.
Not being a great SF-expert, I still think the park looks very realistic in many places, and I was really "Wow-ed" by the big woodie at the entrance..
Thanks, and looking forward to see much more from you in future!
