Hello, fans!! I'm here to announce a brand-new park that'll soon be available to y'all:
FARUQ'S ARID HEIGHTS
Sir Muhammad Khalij Faruq, a descendant to a past King of Egypt (yes, Egypt was still a Kingdom until 1952), immigrated to America in the early 1980s, and settled in California. After negotiations with Bently's/Kharzi USA, and with the Coventry Community Council (the former owners of Arid Heights Park [the old version scenario]), Sir Faruq bought off the park for $12,000,000 , and began massive renovations. Arid Heights was allready a booming desert park with few rides and food stands (little of anything else). Faruq sold off some old rides (like a spinning steel coaster [where the Dubayy Downs steeplechase ride now is]), and relocated a few others (like AH's well-liked Creaky Dips side-friction coaster—he dismantled, then relocated, and remantled it up; then—made massive renovations to the coaster itself and its station [he even had newly-designed desert jewel cars trucked in and mounted to replace the old cars], and renamed it Shahirazadi Khan—in honor of the famed heroine featured in the Arabian Knights story series).
Then—Sir Faruq went on a great acquisition quest to build new rides and attractions for the public to enjoy. He even replanted grass on quite a good section of the park (he hired an irrigation company to accomplish that task), hired a famous nursery firm to plant new foliage along the property, and bought new rides galore... .
More on this tale next time...
Ciao!
