At the time of launch there are no known bugs in the Ride Exchange v2.0. Please report any bugs you find as replies to this topic.

The following problems are known, and being fixed.
  • The names of rides and trains is not always the same as the (English) version of the game. This is especially true for Wacky Worlds and Time Twisters new ride types.
  • It is not possible to send custom rides to the Ride Exchange. This includes the 'official' custom ride, the Panda Coaster.

Let me start the ball rolling.

Guests are told that they can download 1 ride per hour when they browse the Exchange.

This isn't true, they cannot download ANY rides. Downloading is a member only feature. The number you can download per hour is based on your post count plus the number of coasters you have uploaded.

Edit: Fixed in v2.02 24 January 2004.

Most Prolific Uploader in Stat Attack isn't being displayed correctly. It seems to show the most recent uploader.

Until it's fixed, everybody has a chance to be in the Ridex v2 'Hall of Fame'. Just keep uploading those rides.

Edit: Fixed in v2.01 18 January 2004. The person who has uploaded the most rides is now being displayed correctly. If you equal the record, your name replaces the person.

Oh! And there was me thinking that three tracks were enough to make it to the top! Guess I'll have to start trying harder :P

One little thing with alignment. I'm using a screen resolution of 1024x768, and the tables don't fit onto the page properly - particularly in the stat attack section. Any ideas?

Well done again on this astounding piece of work.

Sometimes, when a track is uploading, it will just stop for some reason.
The loading bar at the bottom of Internet Explorer, stops in the middle aswell.
So i had to push Stop, and upload it again.

If you don't actually get an error message from the server in your browser window, then you just need to be a little more patient I think.

<snip>

The tables are designed so that none of the columns wraps and are one line high. Their width on the screen will depend on what/who is in the Hall of Fame.

There's not a great deal I can do about that unless I truncate people's names or ride names, which I don't want to do.

Right now as I post this, at 1024*768 you don't need to scroll, but I know what you mean.

When I was downloading riides, occasionally it just refreshed the page instead of downloading the ride.
