Kong: I now it's bright and colourful, but I don't want a dull entrance like most others, I want to attract guests. Those colours you see on the building are the main colours that I'll be using for the park.

Thanks Tornado too ;)

It's good, but I would add windows to the roof. Also, I wouldn't make the building in the center with roof corner. Just straight roof pieces.

Standing 295 feet above the ground, blasting 106 mph, this is Springbank Parks' First and Tallest coaster! THIS..IS...CALIBER!!!

Situated on the Midway Strip, you'll have to walk across a small bridge to get to this starting platform:

Are you ready to blast 295 feet upwards then spiraling on your way back down?

Up and down we go, these massive airtime hills create an outstanding -2 g's!

This coaster will pump your adrenaline to the max!

But before I leave, Springbank Park has just added some features to their entrance building:

That queue line is huge, lol. Is that what the screen shows, or does it include any of the exit?

Nice job on the supports.

The exit line starts at the left building.

Thanks!

The first picture isn't working properly so I uploaded a better one

This is a great small park blog. I like how you're making your structures. You really put some thought behind them. The coaster looks cool and the ratings are great. I'm lovin' the tower structure, the custom supports, terraforming and landscaping. I hope to see more of this really soon.

(Don´t know what it is, but Imageshack-pictures so often give me problems....they won't load or take ages to load, while with all other pics and things my machine is more than fast..... I myself use Photobucket, for free, very user-friendly - you don't even have to include tags anymore if you want to show a pic directly in your topic, just copy and paste-, but ok, everyone has its favourites :D )

Anyway, only saw your most recent pic.

Now that for sure looks nice!
Good building I think, and in lovely colours!

However I think you could improve the whole screen/atmosphere a lot with some changes in the trees/foliage: By now you have a water-line with only full-tile trees in a somewhat repetitive row.
Think it would look much nicer if you do some full-tile trees in clumps together, vary them with lower and 1/4 tile trees (if you have them), but anyway with leaving some tiles without trees and using smaller bushes, that also can go a bit over the water-line, to make it looking more natural.

happy building and keep going, good work :D

Emergo.

Take no offense here, but....

I'm not 'playing around' with anything. I do what I do with my posts as somewhat of a 'signature'. I've been doing it for quite some time now...in various incarnations.

You can tell which posts are mine quite easily. Scroll through them quickly and tell me that you can't pick my posts out from the others.

Ergo: there IS a 'use' for formatting my posts and replies in that fashion.

Again...no offense....it's just a matter of style.

Same as my use of the "punk" smiley at the end of every post......it's just something that I do.

Sorry, Kong, but I absolutely still think you are just "playing around" with things.....

Your layout, bolds and centered things may make that your posts catch the eye more than posts from others, but that does not yet say anything about the quality or help of your posts .....
So, it can as well help to just skip them......

If you want to distinguish yourself (in a positive way, which we value here...), then please try to concentrate on the contents of your posts, instead of utmost unimportant things like visual layout and other outside details.....I, and many others as well, could easily make layouts of posts that would blow your ones away, but that's not what this site is meant for, and I really think it is a bit poor if you can only establish/distinguish yourself with those kind of things instead of with the contents that matters.......

So please now go studying how you can distinguish yourself by the pure quality of your posts, instead of just by the outer layout......

I didn't think the trees looked all that repetative. They seemed to be a nice blend of different trees. But I see your point. A few bare tiles and a few 1/4 tile trees would mix it up a bit more.

BTW:
It's not to an advantage to start up on how people make their posts. Centered, colors, smilies, etc. At least, not here on the forum topics anyway. If this is the sort of thing that bothers people, I recomnend that it's taken to PMs, and not go off-topic needlessly.
