working backwards.. since I think I've got a few confused now >_>

EIGHT!
a festive color scheme and entertaining layout for the coaster. The igloo architecture was a little iffy, but I liked the supports. This park reminded me pleasantly of Forest Frontiers.

SEVEN!
I found the glitches to be rather annoying, but otherwise enjoyed this park. Even after running the reliable patch the coaster kept breaking down? maybe the creator should just stick with the normal trains from now on as suggested :P

SIX!
This was the santa-land-express,one right? >_> <_< I'll just comment as if it is regardless, so if it isn't actually santa land express that'll be number five or four i guess. ._.
I liked the coaster layout for the most part, a little bit of it was awkward. I have a pretty good idea who made this one, i think. :P The architecture was nice- well detailed and varied. I wasn't too fond of the color choices throughout the park, be it the coaster or path, but otherwise a very nice entry, i think.

FIVE!
these comments are for the mice on ice. again, if that was actually four.. ._. my bad.
mice on ice- great concept, very nicely pulled off, i think. One thing i thought could be done better was the holiday theme. The mice could've been in a bigger house to, say, chase a christmas train under the tree or something. I just kind of felt that the entry as it was kind of lacked some of the exuberant holiday joy of some others. Mice on Ice is in my top parks, but it may be preempted if something of similar quality and more "christmas" comes up. =/

Sorry! I've been busy exploring the ASE in RCT 3.
(Flying Camera Recorder, whatever...)

FOUR: Happy Home
Another large scale park. And that tree
is remarkable. Not all that sure about the
reindeer ride, or the little guys running
around the floor. But the room is nice. I
might of made the table large enough to
put the tree/presents ride as a toy on it.
(or maybe on the floor.) This is one of my
favorites thus far. Along with Mice on Ice.

FIVE: Mice on Ice.
Nice! I like the "Cut-Away" on
the house, so you can see inside.

Definatly would of been better
with an invisible track hack. But
it has loads of "Build-Through".

Archy is a little mixed up, as far as
a resterant in the backyard of
someone's house, but it's a small park,
so what the heck. Don't know about
the highway, but I guess it's alright.

SIX: Santaland Express
The archy is where the designer's
focus was on this. The track lay-
out was a but wonky, but they
definatly took advantage of the
space provided. Nice work...

Archy was really good here.
A nice mix of elements made
for a great mix and it drove
the christmas feel home.

SEVEN: The Inn @ St. Nick's Peak
Snazzy Achetecture, but it's so
diverse, you wonder if someone
laid another building against it.
Just too "diverse". Too "busy".

Coaster looks good though.
Just right for this size park.
Nice landscape & terraforming.

EIGHT: Happy Holidays
Primarilly focused on the coaster.
Not much archy or scenery. Just
a lot of supports and a few other
flat rides.

But I can tell that the
designer was working on a normal
Amusement Park. Which is good,
But it doesn't do much for the
christmas feel, just the "winter"
park feel. A nice "park".

PARK NINE is posted :)

Trainman, #8 wasn't corrupted...did you get it open finally?

Loving these little releases. If only I had had time to one but oh now it's too late :P

It is not too late. I'll accept an entry now. Four people have given me extra parks to make the 24. In fact, I'll accept up to 7 more parks from different people who want to enter...so get working on it joshie!...and I like your sig :D

NINE

The colors! They're so BRIGHT!

I think that building in the center is supposed to be santa's factory. Is it? Who knows.

I am really liking entry NINE. I love the building and the interaction with the coaster.

Not really a fan of the hacking that has been done as the tracks kept going invisible where it crossed a path.

Looks strangely familiar, I'm sure I have seen a similar entry. Maybe an extension of one of last years.

Overall, an impressive entry

My initial thoughts after loading park NINE was "WOW, what an elaboate building" and "nice coaster", but after reviewing the coaster a little longer, (which had a nice layout, BTW) I noticed that it was going 50mph when entering the station. That's way too fast and will quickly lead to a station brakes failure. The designer needed to add some additional track and/or brakes to burn off some of the speed. Also, the buildings seemed overly decorated, and some of the textures weren't matched properly. Could have been a top entry with a little more attention to detail.

I agree. The structures are overdone. Could of gotten a better effect without overdoing it.
The track is a great layout. But I agree, the 50 MPH "re-entry" is a bit high. Could've used
block brakes to slow the trains up earlier, after the virtical loop. Then the brakes wouldn't
need to be set so high and trim off so much speed right up to the station.

Nice to see that there's someone else who thinks about track designs as in depth as I do.

I haven't had any time to look at them yet unfortunately, but I had a question. Do you need 6 more parks so we can keep it going until New Years?

Thanks.

Park # 9:

Liked this one a lot. :D

Yup, it also reminded me of something else (but that's no surprise on such a small map with just one real theme), the brakes in the coaster could have been worked out better etc. and the buildings were in fact a bit blocky (though touched up very well):

But....ehhh..this "holidays-celebration" is not aimed at "making the best small park ever", but on making a lovely micro-map representing the holidays-feel as much as possible.

And this one gave me a very nice feeling on that, even if I could not spot any Christmas-decorations, the colours and total atmosphere, as well as the certainly nice coaster in Christmas-colours, gave me a real holiday-feeling.

Nice work, maker of park # 9
