Looking at this park is exciting. But a few ideas have got me wondering.

Do you plan to include any themed rides based on american stories, like, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, or how Benjeman Franklin was also an inventor? Might put a new slant to the park if you can come up with a few rides that tell a bit of the history of the nation. Maybe like Paul Revere's ride to warn of the Brittish invasion, Washington crossing the Delaware. Maybe a harbour with a few tall masted ships. Horse drawn wagons or carrages. Barrels & crates stacked on the streets in front of a few shops, maybe some Candle & Oil Lamp Emporium shoppe.

^That would be interesting to see masted ships in RCT3...I bet he could pull it off though, seeing his other work.

Wow! A pretty tall order!

To be honest, I have used all the reference material I could find from Disney regarding this park, and there wasn't that much! They had planned on more of an immersive experience than just plain rides.

There is the Hall of Presidents, or course, the River Run, which was basically converted into the Grizzly Rapids ride at DCA, a replica of Ellis Island, telling the immigrant experience, which I am thinking of sort of like a Spaceship Earth ride through, and the Enterprise rollercoaster in the Industrial Revolution area.

Also, in Victory Fields, the airplane hangers were going to contain WWII flight simulators, and a full size reproduction Civil War Era fort, aka Fort Sumnter, where the Monitor and Merrimac would recreate their famous battle on Lake America daily.

Finally, there was the State Fair area, just standard rides, and the American Farm area, which was supposed to be a real working old time farm (think Amish) but I was going to delete the area to expand the State Fair area.

The colonial part of Main Street does have a horse drawn trolley, (the in-game tram), and there are numerous businesses including a tavern, a silversmith, and a mercantile. I had not thought of a candle shoppe. Thanks for the idea! The Civil War era Main Street is much simpler, and I have to make some more store signs for that area. There are a few barrels and crates around, but this is Disney, after all, can't be too messy!!!

Like any Disney Park, I'm sure there would be major changes, but I am trying to follow the proposed blueprint for Disney's America as closely as possible within the limits of RCT3.

Well, I have decided to divide the park up into various sections, and one of those is the Enterprise area of the park, showcasing the Industrial Revolution of the 1880's and 1890's.

The highlight will be a roller coaster ride through a burning factory!

One of the "backstage" areas in The Enterprise section is the railroad yard. Walt was a huge fan of model railroads, and every Disney Park has a railroad of some kind. Walt also had an elaborate 1/8th scale railroad in his own backyard, as well as a huge Lionel layout next to his office at the studio.

Here's a shot of the engine house and servicing facilities;

And the night inspector is checking the systems while on his rounds;

More to come...

That's really nice and mysterious. How did you get the tracks to merge together? :huh:
