=)

Just joined since I loved the creations I saw in the Monthly thread. The prob is I am a lousy landscape maker so all my parks are flat. Thought I'd drop in and ask questions to the pros.

Welcome Screamer 11 and Reviar!!

Like still quite some members, I also love building fun-things for peeps, Screamer 11,
and Reviar: for everyone, experienced or unexperienced alike, it is easier to build parks on flat-land, but I am sure there are many tips and comments here that will help you make even more exciting/beautiful/satisfying parks with some landscaping included.

Post your pictures, ask for comments and/or help with any problems, and enjoy the game!!

Welcome friend Reviar!

I just fool around with the mountain tool and randomly change the terrain...

Flat parks CAN be very Ok.

In Real Life many parks are flat also, for the same reason it is as in RCT, I think....it's easier (and less expensive) to build on flat ground....

The most beautiful and exciting parks however, for me personally, in RL as well as in RCT, are the ones that are placed in/around, and have made use of, a lot of great landscaping....

But one can never achieve everything at once, step by step works far better: so go concentrating on your buildings, just in flat parks. They can be amazing, if combined with good rides and exciting RollerCoasters. Once you feel you can create great RollerCoasters and make nearly each building you want in the way you like it....there comes the time you will be challenged to integrate this all with moderate, or amazing!, landscaping also...

Step by step, just work on it as long as it gives you fun...

Or better yet, just do it with little hills... That doesn't require skill...
