Onto the park update...

I was kind of avoiding this area. (Working the waterfall.) because I found it to be kind of boring if the projects becomes as large as this. There's still a bit of terraforming that has yet to be accomplished.

I tried to make a slight change to the way I pulled up the land tiles. Instead of just a bunch of points sticking up, I decided to try to leave at least part of the horizontal land surface, in the flat configuration. So as to add more faces to the landscape.

On a side note:
I completed my entry for the January Road Rally at RCT Space. While I'm aprehensive to show the park, I have no problem with revealing the ratings for one of the coasters in the park. This is the first time I made a coaster with these ratings.

Nice, waterfall looks great, Wolfie!

10.98 excitement... NICE! I made one back when I first got the game that was like 12 excitement... It was a freaking huge B&M that I called "Luke's Monster".

LOL

The whole land themeing seems kind of strange to me. Looks great nonetheless though...

Nice work, and awesome rating on that coaster...

I thought you were going to make the mine train go through the waterfalls like you said earlier in the thread.

BTW, nice ratings! Looking forward to downloading your entry!

The waterfall flashes, (blinks in and out,) as each car of the train passes through it.
I thought it was annoying. I could put it back if you like, but I didn't like the effect it made.
Sure, it looks good to see a track runing into the falls. But as hacks go, it fails expectations.

RR Entry:
You'll be surprised!
I wonder if anyone will do what I did with it.
It'll be interesting to see if anyone else has had the same ideas.

It would look like a real waterfall. When a train goes through it, the water splashes away.

Hi, these are the only photos i have a problem with!.
It looks great!, And i love that station, but maybe add some cool fountains?. I mean, where does the water come from?
Also, maybe take a few of the white (splash thingy), away. It's just a bit too much i would think!
But looks good none the less, those are basically the only issues i could see on those photos!

Edit: I was just wondering, maybe you should put wood landscape? (like on the sides)?, Might add some flavour! ;).. You could give it a try maybe?

Sincerly.
Rubix!

Nope. The area isn't finished yet, and all the tiles will eventually get pulled up into their positions. Just wait until the trees and bushes get put in. It'll look a lot better. Trust me.

As for the waterfall in question. It took a couple train runs to get the desired photos, but here are two. Every car that passes beneath the falls, causes the shorter falls above the track to wink in and out. Like a strobe.

The B&M got a name... Vesuvius. Couldn't think of the name of the volcano in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. So until I find out the name of the volcano in the movie, I guess the name will have to do.

Another point is that the coaster got drasticly shortened... Which opened up another side of the mountain. Which I think I have an idea for another attraction. I know what you're thinking. Like, "Woa Wolfie... Three attractions in one mountain?" And I'd say, "Heeyeah! Why not?" and everyone's gonna be like, "he's never gonna fit them all in there." And I'll be like, "Watch me!" ;)

Anyway, the mountain has sustained some terraforming alterations, and I don't think I'll do much more with it until I get a layout for the new attraction plotted out.

Maybe make something a little more gentle for the 3rd ride
