I uploaded the VP3D Park Ensueno and hit the pause button right off the bat. This helped the frames per second rate. I could tell that lag was going to be a problem but I used a work around. I clicked the multiple garbage cans button and deleted half the park in one clean swipe. This improved the frame rate so I started exploring the part of the park that was left. After finishing the exploration of that half of the park, I just reloaded the whole park again. You guessed it; I paused the game again and deleted the other half. I was able to explore the entire park this way with everything turned up to full. It is a great park with very unique designs. The water slides were very creative indeed.
Lag can be a pain in RCT3 with standard size parks like this one. I have a park that I want to enter in the VP3D contest but it is close to the same size. I am hesitating about enter it in the competition due to the lag issue. What do you think? Since my park is about the same size should I avoid entering it in the VP3D contest?
My park has never been released to the public on any boards but a few videos have been released. Would the park still meet the qualification for VP3D?
Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 1.90GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2
RADEON 9800 PRO 128.0 MB

It is my understanding that promotion or solicitation of feedback, through videos or screenshots, is allowable. The park itself cannot be released. By released, we generally mean to the public. Exempted are people currently working on the park - i.e. yourself, advisor, or club member...

What the park has to have? It's an RCT3 park...
The competition starts now - The rules are listed on the rct3d.com site in the VP3D section.
RCT3D.com is where the RCT3 stuff will be assigned to... You should check it out sometime.
