Well, I take it all back. I tested it and it happened to me too too with all rides in Ridex v2, but not in Ridex v1.

It must have been like this since 15th November. There have been hundreds of downloads since then, I wonder why it took over 4 weeks for anybody to bother to report it. EVERY Ridex page has a link to the bug reports topic.

So my apologies to skyvanman and Flare, suggesting the problem was at their end, and a big THANK YOU for reporting it. The problem should be fixed now.

Okay then. I'll add RCT2.com to my list to not block pop-ups,  maybe that solves the problem.

See above, I found the problem, it *WAS* server side.

For the record, rct2.com does NOT send pop-ups.

This has been reported for Ridex v1 and SFTP too. It's something to do with your PC and our server not disconnecting properly at the end of the page. (It's happened with every host/server we've had, not just our new one.)

I can do nothing to fix this. All I can suggest is that you wait a few extra seconds when the page has appeared before selecting to download.

At the very very end of index.php, put exit(); or die(); (before ?> of course )

I very new to this place and im trying to upload my track to share with others. But i keep getting a error.. Is this beeing fixed at the moment? or is there somthing wrong with my end? Thanks for your time.

This is the error i get:
Error: Unable to create TD6 file on disk.

Confirmed: Not really a bug, this was caused by a file and folder permissions problem following our recent server move. It's fixed now.

I tried downloading a ride called Ketchup & Mustard a wooden roller coaster, a folder opened up on my computer with the track and I tried to move it to my track folder and I got an error saying invalid zip file or something like that.

Repeated what you just said with the same coaster and had no problems. I think that this must be more a problem with your connection than with our Exchange.

I created the Ketchup & Mustard and i dont think there was a error with it. Maybe try re-downloading it.

Please use the Ridex at your own risk at the moment. Since the site was restored from out hosts' backup last week, after their server crashed, a number of their restored files seem to be empty. I will post here again when I have completed the restoration from my own backups.

All rides uploaded between 18th October and today have been lost. You will need to upload them again.

UPDATE: Please do not try to download any rides that were created between 5th October and 12th October.
