- The original RCT1 and RCT2 fans are getting older as is the game, and are moving on with other interests.
- There have been no new advancements, expansions, or code fixes in 1 & 2, so there is no new interest to build on.
- RCT3 was introduced and 99% of the computers belonging to the first adopters were insufficient to handle more than a whisper of a park.
Having said that - There are still many RCT1 & 2 players out there, just not as active. As well, RCT3 has a fan base, and the expansions fixed some problems( including some of the lag) but were not enough to keep people happy or interested. Thus the more enterprising coders developed a way to make custom scenery, new fireworks and particle effects, and there are more advancements on the way.
Welcome back Joshie.

Nothing wrong with the 'flatland' stage...I've seen some great parks that were fairly flat, as are large parts of many real-world parks. I'm sure if you start a thread for some feedback and tips people here will be glad to help.

Ummm... yeah. I've played RCT since before RCT2, but only recently have I started exploring into the RCT community.
