Oops! Just found this post... but I'm new... been here for a few days.

I own RCT, Corkscrew Follies I think it's called, and RCT2. I now play RCT2. I was thinking about getting RCT3 at one point but it sounds so much like The Sims 2 that I decided not to. Plus I just like building the rides and watching the roller coasters go 'round and 'round. Oh yes, I'm easily amused. LOL

I haven't gotten any expansion packs for RCT2 - are they worth it?

I do have RCT1 (but don't know much about it, never really played it actively)
but I play a lot of RCT2

Imo the expansion-packs for RCT2 aren't worth anything ( but of course that is very personal).
They really don't add anything apart from some crappy scenarios, and a lot of ugly scenery, for which mostly there are made much better replacements already by custom scenery makers....
