Thanks the for the replies, everyone. Unfortunately, my computer failed last week and had to have a full reinstall done, which means I lost the map...but no worries! I already started on rebuilding the monorail station, so hopefully that will be up soon.
As for comments:
coastercrazy: Thanks. Glad you like it.
Wolfman: If you look at the picture, the back "spoke" (as you call it) extends onto the path (which will lead to the hotel), so to keep the flow, the roof is 2 tiles wide (4 1/4 tiles), while on the other side (which will lead to the Magic Kingdom/Disneyland type park), I decided not to extend the roof over the path and therefore opted for a "larger" roof section of 3 tiles (6 1/4 tiles) as opposed to the 2 tile width of the other side. Glad you like the foundation, I think it fits in well with the Victorian theme I was going for. AS for the pillars, the number that is there is needed to support the roof, so if anything, I will add pillars on the inside. Also, I figured it would break up the blockiness of the roof even more. I might think about adding a glass panel where those flat rooves are.
Luketh: Thanks. I tried the white, and felt that the peach color went much better with the grey rock. Yeah, I meant to fix that aqua part.
RNRXMontu: Thanks. Yeah, I meant to fix that aqua part.

Sorry to hear you experienced a fatal game crash. It's been happening a lot lately.

Yeah, thankfully that monorail station was the only thing on the map, so it won't be too hard to recreate. On the other hand, RRAP will get a fresh new start as I had more work done on that. Technology is great...when it cooperates, otherwise it's a b****. So glad my major is ECE.

I don't have time for an official update, but construction on the Grand Victorian is slowly continuing. Thanks fo Robbie, who helped me fix my zc-ing. Anyway, here's a pic I took of the GV so far.

That looks pretty good...
You're gonna love me for this, but try white instead of blood red for the trimming...

Ok, here's what I'm seeing.......
It seems like you have some decent ideas going but, all of your structures (this, the station, the Polynesian building) tend to be very repetitive and monotonous. They just lack any sort of personality. Try varying the heights, the faces of the structures (move parts back from the path) and use detail objects and 1/4 tile pieces to try to break the monotony of your structures. Everything is basically flat-faced and looks really two-dimensional. Even the rooves are all at the same height on everything. You'd be surprised how much just a simple, small brick block or deco piece under a window here and there or over a door, on corners, etc. can make things pop for ya.
Don't be afraid to experiment with different looks....just save your game, try an idea out and if you don't like it....just re-load the game without saving and you're right back where you were.

Thanks for the comments guys. Since my detailing skills aren't quite up to the Disney standard, I'm going to drop the Disney tag off this project. Instead I will be doing something similar to what James does, but I will be using a fake "chain" so I have no specific guidelines to follow. I finally found a good name, Togessa, to use. Don't ask me what they sell, right now I'm thinking it will be a hotel chain.

Topic re-named for you. I guessed that you would want this as you changed in on NE.
