I totally agree.
The colors WILL be changed.
I left the default colors on the station structure,
simply because I didn't know how it was going to turn out.

But I hear ya LDW!

I planted something of a garden.
I also have to put a sort of "raindow" effect to the flowers though.
Then surround the colors, with white flowers, or 1/4 tile dark green foliage.

I found someone's shoes today...
But their much too big for me to fill.

Enjoy!

YES!!!!
I was able to record the audio from the music video Thriller.
It was over 13 min. long, so I had to edit some audio.
Simply because it was soundtrack audio. NO music.
So the theater will be "showing" the audio portion
of the music video, Thriller, by Micheal Jackson.

The audio WAV file will be in the zip file when it
comes time to pass the park onto someone else.
:D

This park looks amazingly well put together. Great job guys. Keep going. And it's awesome how the theatre will be "playing" the Thriller music Video.

This is starting to scream "Michael Jackson Tribute!" to me much more than the original "Roswell City-Year Round Fair".

But, that's just my opinion...I could be wrong.

Nothing wrong with having a couple attractions dedicated to the King of Pop.
Other things are going in that have nothing to do with Michael Jackson.
It's just my little RCT 2 tribute, that will mark the week we lost him.
When people open this park they'll remember him, and his music,
creativity, his generosity, and the love he had for his fellow man.
There's nothing wrong with that at all. He will be missed.
:(

lol. I gotta saay though, I don't like those shoes but in another context really. I don't like them because of why they are there sort of thing. Why are they there?

EDIT: are those Michael Jakson's by any chance?

EDIT: are those Michael Jackson's by any chance?

He was known as a dancer. And an amazing one at that. As to "why" the shoes are there? It's a sort of trade-mark of his. Everyone knows how talented he was. As for why their on the roof?... Have you ever seen movie debuts in Hollywood?... They put inflatables on the roofs of theaters and a bunch of props inside. I sort of imagined that the shoes would be akin to inflatable balloons. Another reason why the shoes are there is because of the featured video attraction. I thought I'd spell it out for you...

Besides, real-life fairs have big name performers all the time. I didn't think that I would have to defend the attraction as much as I've been. Alright? Can we move on?

BTW: You wanted "round", and I gave it to you. I redesigned the tent once already. I'm not doing it all over again. I'll change the colors, but I won't change the structure for a second time. Besides, when was the last time that you went to a fair, and they DIDN'T have a huge tent? ;)

I created an Inverted Impulse coaster. I kind of like the design, and it's pretty popular. It's located on the busy side of the Midway, as I mentioned before. Although, I'm still kind of doubtful on it's location. It does block the view of the area somewhat. So I might locate it in another area OR not use it at all. I was so involved in making structures, that the park ratings were drooping, so I had to introduce a new coaster. Even if it was just temporary to appease the Peeps.

Structurally, I think I hit a home run with the structure for the Thriller coaster. (colors changed for LDW's request.) It's big, because there's also a food court within it. Restroom, first aid... etc. I noticed how the food court as a stand alone structure played out before. So I tried something different for this one.

But I'm not quite settled on the wall color. One POV is painted a light peach color , and the other POV is painted in beige. Both with white accents & trim. (OOPS! Forgot to repaint the windows. I'll catch that in the next session.) Here are the two POVs, in two colors. Please help me make up my mind about it. And I like the Terra Cota roof color.

The Beige side...

lol, I am a bit stupid! Not! The shoes will definately be on the park's skyline. Now, I am actually liking the shoes! With that canvas, I'll fix it up for ya when I work on the park some more cause I just hate it. :P ;) With the Thriller station, beige is definately best. :D I'm thinking this can reach bronze at NE or even a VP if we're lucky. :P It's just me and you working on this anyway, Luketh's not interested, Loserface is busy and don't know about Viking16. We are the only active members in CLUBRCT! :( Anyway, where we stand, this park is coming along nicely.

I..uh.. WOW!

Dude, loving the park! The shoes go a little far, and it's "Roswell City Year-Round Fair", not "Roswell Year-Round City Fair".

Other than that, I totally love it!

Sure, whatever. I'm just tired of working the dumb thing.

With the Thriller station, beige is definatly best.

I can do that. I did something around the structure recently, and deleted a few things, so while I'm performing maintenance, I'll paint it too.

I'm thinking this can reach bronze at NE or even a VP if we're lucky.

Just my opinion, but I really don't think so. At least, I don't think I can muster up enough creativity. But WTH? Go for it. All they can do is laugh at us and throw it back in our face.

It's just me and you working on this anyway, Luketh's not interested, Loserface is busy and don't know about Viking16. We are the only active members in CLUB RCT! Anyway, where we stand, this park is coming along nicely.

I don't know about the others but I just received word that Luketh just MIGHT take a stab at it.

Yeah. I had a flower garden that spelled it out, and I kept wondering about the name. Figures, I'm IN the park working and didn't bother to go on line to check. Besides, I spelled ROUND wrong. (I spelled it ROND) So I caught that. I also made some longstanding corrections today.

I moved the monorail station that's near the entrance. It was too close to the gate's structure for the info booths. So I saved it with ANOTHER monorail, and moved it back a tile. I would of done more, but the track wasn't that flexible to move it much further. I also REPLACED the track with an all new manually built copy. The only difference? It travels the track in the opposite direction.

The inverted impulse coaster got moved as well. But I'm not all that hot for where it is NOW either. (down by the carousel.) Peeps are loosing interest in the park. Crowds are thin. I was thinking of building a new woodie, but since Luketh said he MIGHT want to get in on this, I thought that I wouldn't chew up the space.

UPDATE TIME!
Moved the station, without having to rebuild every object manually.

Toying with the idea of custom supports for the monorail. I have a number of different colors to choose from.

Roswell Xcelletron...

Yes, that IS land tiles I tunneled the track through. I discovered back in the original RCT, that alternating the track through a series of tunnels, you get this way cool audio effect. Because the sound is muffled when the cars pass through each tunnel. So you get this woosh - woooooosh - wooooosh - woooosh - wooosh - woosh - wosh - wsh - effect as the cars accelerate down the track. Try it sometime. It's really weird!

The Midway passes beneath the tracks of the Xcelletron. It's not the same on both sides.

Some flats, a fountain and an info kiosk.

That's it for the rides for now. I plan to punch up the scenery over the next few days, then pass the park along to whomever.

Later y'all!
