First post is updated with Park #5...enjoy!

I will NOT be accepting any more entries...we are complete. I said first come, first served..so if any of you are still working on something...you will just need to share it in the ad district :)

We have no duplicate entries now...24 parks by 24 different people....and thats how it should be...although I again need to express how THANKFUL I am that so many of you did that 'extra' little thing to keep this contest a success...its just nice to know we have such great people out here in the RCT community!

Also...Edna Mae was one of those 'special' people and I will be releasing her park (cuz if I don't...I'll never hear the end of it  ) on Christmas Day....Edna Mae's park will kick off the actual voting of the top 4!

Today, we have park FIVE...so now is when we all need to start thinking about keeping those top 4 parks on our desktop....

park three was very nice. the archy was good looking and the reeindeer coasters was a great touch. i didnt like certain parts of the archy especailly considering that most of it was hard to see from outside the little square. but i loved all the pots

park four was good. i didnt like the coaster very much but it had some great ideas. the names all seemed very appropriate.

park five was very nice. the coasters was alittle extreme but it looked good. the greenery was kinda ugly in places but worked well for its purpose. the supports on the top most part of the coaster were kinda odd looking but i understand thats because the map was too small for them to be complete. i love the little station. the theming and the names olny partially add up but it works.

Congrats to all on the parks. good work, lots of fun to look at.

My RCT2 disc is broken and the computer can't read it...

I will hopefully be able to get a new one in the next few days, but, until then, could somebody PM me a screenshot of the parks? If you do, thanks SO much; you are being very kind and helpful. :)

EDIT - Entry #5 on until I let you know my disc is fixed (should only be a couple days) please. Thanks a lot if you are willing. :D

Park #5...........At first glance I REALLY liked the look of this park......nice color scheme......great work on the coaster supports ( except for the unfinished parts, again...due to the limited space). The Archy is well done but, maybe a little repetitive.....I would have liked to see a little variation but overall....well done.

As I watched it for a few minutes I started noticing things going awry............ glitches from hacking....( I've always disliked that aspect of hacking...... probably why I never really tried it )...and the fact that guests can't get to the entrance to the coaster ( which again is basically unrideable ) the mechanic walking through the fence repeatedly until the coaster broke down......then he walked through the wall of the station to repair it.

Overall, a great effort that unfortunately ( IMO ) came up a little short simply from non-attention to some relatively basic details.

LOL, sarcasm is hard to notice on the internet! (either that or I'm falling behind on MINE  )
park 5 did have nice colors, but as K0NG said, the hacking eventually started to glitch up the park (i've never really liked hacking...)

I think I have an idea of who did park 5...(DEFINITELY WASNT ME...)

I really liked the look of park FIVE; the coaster supports look great and the coaster appeared to be a lot of fun (until I checked the stats; Ouch!), but I was disappointed that the builder did not provide a useable entrance for the peeps. I was also disappointed by the lack of any shops or stalls. Still a very beautiful park with good use of the Christmas colors.

Alright! I got RCT2 working! :woot:

Entry #5 was pretty good. The coaster seemed a little painful (the ratings proved it), but that's what can happen when squeezing a coaster into a 17X17. The archy was good, although I didn't get a downtown feel. Anyway, overall it was a great park. Can't wait to see more. :)

#4 with the painful woody & the snowy supports, although it looked nice, it ended up as a big dissapointment as there was nothing else in the park. Watched the coaster for a while. Meh.

#5 was a bit better. At least the builder took the time to add some archy and it turned out okay. But again, with only a single attraction, you can't really call it a "park" but a demo format for a single track file. So, I didn't think much of it.

Buckeye Becky, Thanks for posting the top four of the last year winners. I really liked the one with the "angel" flying around the tree top. Looked very nice, like some scene from a traditional christmas from childhood. Gives me loads of ideas for next year.
