Wow, this is disappointing news, I think I've used one of Steve's designs in every single park I've ever done...they are that good (and I'm THAT bad!).
Hope this get's straightened out soon!

hmmm...I've noticed some of steve's tracks are missing from the database! I downloaded a track pack which mentioned his recreation of the Cyclone Racer @ Long Beach. It's not there. Does anyone know what's become of it?
Ok, more specifically, "Race thru the Clouds" and "Ocean Park Coasters", as mentioned in the Santa Monica Whirlwind pack is missing, as is "Cyclone racer @ Long Beach" which is mentioned in the Cyclone @ Sesquicentennial track pack. Typing these titles into the SFTP search engine brings up the message: "Error: there are no packs that meet the current criteria."

Where Steve had RCT1 track packs, he updated them with RCT2 versions of the rides. The documentation was often not changed.
Steve was holding off releasing some of the RCT1 versions like 'Race Thru The Clouds' until he had added an RCT2 version to the Track Pack, so the cross references no longer are valid.
I guess that this is one he hasn't got around to updating. It's posible that somebody in the community may have an old RCT1 version.
Steve hasn't been in touch since November 2004, despite several attempts to contact him by me and others. I trust that all is well with him.
But this isn't a bug. Steve personally uploads all his Track Packs to the site. And while we have had occasional glitches in teh system, we haven't lost a Pack yet.

V2.37, 13 Mar 2007
Corrected upload bug (same bug as just fixed in Ride Exchange v1.17). If only Steve Franks would create some more recreations and tell me that the upload feature (which only he can use) still works.

V2.38 14 Jul 2007
Changes were to remove all references to RCT2.com and replace them with RCTspace.com.
RCT2.com is still being referenced in the skin, and there are other known skin errors. These will be ironed out over the next few days.

It is known that the Tracks Pack system is broken. This is part of the work to upgrade the boards.
