I really didn't know what to do about the slanted roof against the square edge of the walls.
I just thought it would allow the heat buildup inside the structure to escape.
Acually, I THOUGHT I had some wedge shaped walls somewhere,
but I'm unsure of the texture and that they'll match the wall I'm already using,
or if I have to import matching walls via Park Dat to go with the wedge walls.
I've opened up worse cans of worms though.
And I have to get a wider selection of booths & stalls anyway.

Greez'd Lightnin' and Thriller have been moved. Greez'd Lightnin' structure has the walls and roofs meeting like their "supposed to", I guess. And the old Greased Lightning was torn down. A new station to Transporter has been created, and a whole new area of the park has been opened up for development. Flat rides are planned for the future expansion.
New pics coming soon!

When I first got the park, I thought that I should fill in spaces. But eventually, it dawned on me that this might not be what was in mind when the park was shipped off to me. So I broke ground on a new area of the park. With the room to grow & spread out, I could pretty much design what I wanted, without imposing on any pre-existing structures or attractions. BTW, LDW, you might want to check out Six Flags Great America via Google Earth. Their coasters are pretty close together. SOME are right NEXT to each other.
Let's start with an overview, shall we?
One of my signature elements, A curved midway, to the back corner of the park. This happens to be the furthest point from the gate, as far as the midway goes. A few flat thrill rides can fit between Thriller and the midway and (if I manipulate the Transporter track a bit more,) a junior coaster can be located on the opposite side of the midway.
Greez'd Lightnin' got a revised structure. Not much change here. But I did fix the walls.
Changed the roof object, and slipped an abstract wall in there to fill the gap.
I might push Thriller away from the midway a bit, as well as the station to the Transporter. So I can build two structures, a bit further from the Midway....
...Otherwise, it's going to be pretty congested, OR one huge structure is going to cover the entire area. And that's not a good idea.
Some supports didn't make it through the "save objects with the track" selection. I'll replace them pretty soon.

Darndest thing...
I forgot to save the last session.
So all those images I just posted are going to be a bit off.
Oh well. Not much work lost. Most of it was moving tracks around. So I started the thing over again, making sure to give the attractions a bit more room than last time. Started over with a new Midway too. Also, built some main-street style structures to house a few flats & tracks. A retro Style theater, A sweets shop, (could of been an ice cream shop,) and a nightclub. Someone say Darkride? Well, it's got it. And the ol' 3-D theater.
I hope to have a custom audio file to go with it by the end of the week.

You may have noticed that I really kept the Monorail track as close as possible to Thriller. I even found a way to thread the track through the coaster. Now you know why I did that. To boost ratings to both attractions. So touring around the edge of the park may seem like a good idea. It's much better to take the tracks past other attractions.
I made a structure for the Thriller coaster. But it's big, bulky & blocky. So before I go and post any pics, I'll have to attend to that structure. Otherwise, not much else to update on, but the main street shops. And I like to make MAJOR updates. Maybe later tonight.

A small revision around the carousel. It used to be perched on a dead end midway.
But now the midway encircles it, and is able to move beyond into new areas.
You probably noticed the revised tent in that last image. Here it is!
And what's inside? FOUR LOUSY STALLS! And there is the possibility to add a fourth set of stairs to move out into future areas of the park.
I mentioned that I was working on a cluster of Main Street Shops.
Remember in the Thriller Video, it starts out with a couple watching a >ahem< Wolfman movie? Well, I made a theater, (not THEE theater,) and a few shops to boot.
And inside the shops and theater is a ghost train and a 3-D Theater. (I had to sink the theater.) Since it's opening, the theater queue has ALWAYS been full to capacity. I credit the storms. Come to think of it, The 3-D theater might of worked out better in the THEATER building, and NOT the ghost train. Figures, it didn't dawn on me until just now.
That's the update. Hope you like!
