Thing is, with the safety ratchets... I have the chain speed at 80 MPH... If I place one anywhere on the track the whole thing goes flying and the ride ends up being way too intense. I'll try remaking the end of the ride a little bit, I can make it longer and more excititing while I'm at it.

 An 80mph lift?! That explains the chain before the top hat...

Remodelling the end could solve your problems, especially if you can use the extra length to dissipate some of the train's momentum. A little terrain interaction may help there if you have any hills nearby. The real key is to make sure you have a graduated brake run closer to the station: Giant dipper has gone more than 30 years without a single brakes failure, and the trains hit the station approach brakes at 35mph!

Yeah, the chain acts as the launcher, seeing as there are no horizantal launch pieces in RCT2.

I've made the ride longer and added a brake run, I'm sure that the ride'll work now.

It looks like a terrain coaster.

Nice layout, and very twisty! I like how the train swooshes around at the end. What's going on in that section after the top hat? it looks like there's a water splash... does it work?

*mental note: must not start thinking of ways to tweak the track! There's nothing wrong with it, but somehow my coaster-building mind has gone into overdrive.

Btw, what are the stats of Golden Knight? It looks quite exciting with all those trees.

Yes there's a splash track. There's a brake at the "splash".

Yeah, the brake works as the 'splash'. Also, when the train runs over the track the foamy water shows up stronger right in front of it. It doesn't REALLY work, but you get the general idea with it.
