Ok...

I took a quick look at the park and I like the concept that you're shooting for....the small, roadside park out in the middle of semi-nowhere. I liked the drive-in theater......although it needs some detail work instead of just a projection room and two screens. Unless it's SUPPOSED to look abandoned (which it does) you should fence it off...give it a concession stand, etc.

The park itself is ok. The biggest problem I see with it is that what looks to be the main attraction...the water slides...are non-functional, yet there are open stairways leading up to the top 'boarding areas' that the peeps are climbing up and down to no avail. I don't think they're gonna be too happy with that.

Also, the buildings in the park are extremely bland......IMO, if you're going to have buildings that serve no purpose other than to be decoration......they need to be DECORATIVE!

Overall......I'd say it's a nice START to a park......but, it has a very unfinished look to it......if I were you, I'd keep working on it and give it some more ambience......more detail.....imagine GOING there and think of what you'd want to see if you were actually visiting (or just dropping by on your way somewhere).

wow... thank you so much for the awesome critique. as far as the drive in, it is supposed to be abandoned! haha... and i chose not to fence it off because i based it on an old drive in by my town that has the same look: run down, graffiti, no fence. and there is a concessions, on the other side :-P

and yeah thats the exact concept i was shooting for. i see what you mean by ambience... and im planning on releasing another version around December... but as for now im working on my vacation park.

thank you very much for the comment!

UUUURRRR...

The file is corruptted again... Remember, I have both expansions, have turned off my Internet-Virus Protection, which prevents files from downloading quickly, and basically everything looks fine.

GOD...why is this happening?!

Sorry for the double post, but I've got it working. I cleaned out my Internet cookies and files to do so.

Rotten, your park looks very nice. :) I did notice that it did look quite uncompleted, but the coasters (even if there were 2) were well designed. And I LOVED your idea of an arcade, complete with a token machine. Dodgems are cool when used that way.

Again, very nice. I hope to see more of your work, it's fantastic!
