I'll try to have a little bit of landscaping in the bench, but I don't plan for the whole thing to be landscaped on it. The mainstreet (or whatever it's called) I plan to do in editor. This is gonna be tough making a bench that wil allow us to theme so many different areas of the park.

Right now I'm working the bench and doing mainstreet. I'll ask for what specific rides I can make later.

Well I can design rides and recreations, but landscaping and architecture isn't my thing. We'll probaly need help in Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Main Streets architecture, as well as The Haunted Mansion. Landscaping could also be needed, especially with rides like Splash Mountain. I don't think RCT2 has any briar patch scenery.

The first thing I need to do is find a bench park for the park for us to build off of. ClockworkMyr and **cjman**, do you two have AIM or MSN?

Well if you want I can help you out on some Archy.

That is my strongest point. I good bench to use would be gee-whizz's. It may not have Disney scenery but it's still a damn good bench and you can create a good Disney atmosphere with it.

But yeh, I'm up for doing some archy.

Nice! We got a good architect among us now! :D We'll probably need no more than 5 people, 4 is actually good right now for a 256x256.

Speaking of which, I've gotten some work done on the main entrance:

http://img524.images...22/scr19wm3.png
It's currently unfinished, and those ugly fences will go away soon. I'm also going to put some windows on the structure in between the ticket booths and add rooves on them as well. I'll post a finished screen as soon as I can.

Now that there are two architects, so Sparks can help us divvy out who will do what. I suppose we now have (other than Sparks), Clockwork, myself, and Pineapple?

Tell me what you guys think so far! This is turning out to be really fun.

Mods, go ahead and move this to the construction zone!

Yep, now that we got screens, this should be moved. I'll contact a mod.

Love the screens. They seem to fit well, but we need a sign that points out its Disneyland, ya know what I mean?

And yes, so far its me, Clockwork, cjman, and Pinapple now. Perfect.

This is practically a dream team! And I'm all for having an MGM Studios personally. I'm still plugging away at the rides as well. For the smaller rides, **cjman** will have to send me the bench so I can place them there.

Well it'll be some time before **cjman** finishes the bench so we can begin construction on the rides and buildings, after all, Rome wasn't built in a day. Currently, I want our focus to be on the main park, the neighbor park is a side project for later.

So basically, out of the ride lists, I want each team member to PM me what rides in this park they'll be doing. Or posting here will be fine too. :P

I'll be doing:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain
Alice in Wonderland
Finding Nemos Submarine Voyage
WEDway Peoplemover
Tomorrowland's Autopia

I only chose a few rides as not all the rides in the park are track rides that are fun to design, so I want to give a wide choice for everyone else on the team.

Now for some finished screens. I'll try to find a spot to put a sign shouting out in all it's glory that you are entering the wonderful world of Disney, I've been trying to find one for outside the park ever since I started. Anyway, here's what everyone's waiting for. PICS!!!

The finished entrance.

http://img363.images...06/scr21ui3.png

I'm doing the best I can on interpereting what's on the map, here's that (what looks to me as) guest services building with the red roof on the left of the entrance in the picture.

Intricate huh??

And lastly here's the trademark Mickey Mouse silouhette.
http://img378.images...88/scr23zj2.png
Tell me if it needs improving.

Thanks!! :D

As for rides, I'm really indifferent. I'll just do whatever no one else will do. (actually, I've never been to any Disney park so...heh heh! I don't know what any of the trademark rides are like  )
However, I guess I could do something over in the Haunted Mansion section....I'm good at dark rides. :)

Wow, the looks are getting pretty dead on. And the Mickey head isn't easy to see, but I like it, cause it can serve as a "Hidden Mickey" in a way. :P And if you want to see some on ride tours of Disney rides, I suggest looking on Youtube.

Maybe you should try to get some main street architecture in this, because it doesn't look like a disney park...

If you want some idea of how a disney park looks in rct2, try to look at rctmart: http://www.rctmart.c...p?showforum=207

Also, some disney parks made at NE: http://www.nedesigns.com/?ne=spotlight

Well keep in mind its a recreation of the map on the first page. And I'm pretty sure **cjman** has the necessary scenery for the park, such as the said Main Street scenery, as well as Tomorrowland architecture blocks and Its a Small World exterior scenery.
