^Thanks!

On the transition path from the entrance to the next area, there's an observation tower so that peeps can get their bearings from a neutral point of view.
It's called Redwood Rise, and for all of you who haven't heard of them, a Redwood tree is an ENORMOUS tree. I've been to the Redwood forest in California (at least I think it was there) and those things are monsters. The tallest redwood ever found was 375 feet high.

Back on topic! Here's RWR:

Here's a new area in the park. It's an old mining town (I've decided not to make it abandoned and scary). I've based it off a particular area in my home state (Texas)...The Stock Yards!! I don't remember whether that actually was an old western town, but I think it was just themed like that. There were cattle drives, ACTUAL cowboys/girls, and of course, a huge candy store. I think I'm reminiscing too much...(???)*

Anyway, here's a teaser of that area:

OH, and here are the 4 WW objects I am using (I've shown each one from all the angles). If someone has objects that look similar to those, or would have the ability to unWW em, that would be awesome.

Comments are most welcome!

*oh, and btw for mods, the >< smiley doesn't work now. See????? :><:

Now, that last two screens absolutely look really good and solid. Nice archy.
A tiny splash of colour here and there could do though, maybe a sign, or a trim, or things like that, just to avoid that all the brown gets too boring......and of course some foliage to break up all the brown also.

On the objects: no, I don“t know of any objects that really can replace them. Though parts of it are there, like the square boxes and also the round dynamite things, though then they are separate 1-4 tile objects that you would have to group yourselve to get the same effect.

Whether you have used them already in your park or not, all 4 of them could be replaced by other (non-WW) objects by using Dimport or Parkdat (and by that your park would be de-WW-ed.).

If you have problems with doing that, pm me about it and I can help you.

NICE!!!! Scored another reply from Emergo! :D

Thanks! I've given the buildings a new paint job, and have constructed the first coaster in this new area. I'll try to get some more screens up today.

Any more comments on the park? Post it all here!

lol I could only look at the first screen as I dont want to steal any1 elses ideas for my forest themed park lol. That said I think I picked a good screen to look at as it was beautiful. I completely disagree with the roof colour problem (maybe because my entrance building roof is the same colour but ummm oh well). The little details youve added are nice as well and I would say I look forward to seeing the screens you post but as I'm stopping myself form looking at them hmmmmm maybe a tad bit pointless so Ill substitute new words into the phrase to come up with....

Looking forward to hearing the comments of other uses about all the new screens that you have posted.

There we go. Also if that made any sense then Im a monkeys uncle (woiuldnt suprise me) but anyway im gonna say lovely first screen and shut up now.

Bye bye

PS. I cant type I make to many errors

Hey, cj, not sure if you remember me, but I think you should try hacking and theming the ride into a tree. I think that would add a LOT to the area. However, there is never just one redwood. ;)

Wow! I wish my parks looked like that.

Mind hosting the scenery you're using on http://www.mediafire.com ?

edit: Ooooh I like the idea of making that observation tower into a giant tree trunk... probably needs custom scenery, but I mean, that would be cool custom scenery to have! (stuff that looks like humongous tree roots that you could arch over pathways)

Very solid work cjman. You are really improving fast and greatly. I hope you take out the WW objects since hardly anyone has the expansions.;)

Keep it up!

You have simply made more on shapes of building, only yours buildings are lacking combination on near aspect, so as to shade buildings again. Otherwise, it's nice work, i am not certain i am understandable but if you want to attempt a translation ( ??) to french... ^^

Wow. That has got to be one of my favorite mine/western town-themed areas I've ever seen. Can't wait to see the rest!
