I didn't have room, but I guess that's just bad design. The supports would either have to kick all the peeps in the balls by going through the track, or make a support that looks like a ^ with an extended corner. Now that wouldn't seem realistic, would it?

BTW, I forgot that these were a bit unfinished, the coaster's around 45% done. ;)

Well.. bad design isn't very good. You can always just make them straight, it makes more sense than having a bunch of pointless supports that don't even do anything.

Yes, but don't straight, tall supports look awkward? Even more for a Maurer Sohne.

Excuse yourself, like you have to go to the bathroom...
but go to the breaker box and kill the power fror a moment.

You'll need to reset a few clocks, but then they'll need to reboot.

I don't like the chain link fence. It's OK for a construction zone or somethin'. But for a finished area, a normal fence would be fine. Besides, when was the last time you saw peeps leave the footpath willingly?

I love that entrance sign! I think the colors of the coaster don't go very well for the area though. ;)

Can't wait for more pictures...

Luketh: I just remembered, the support you mentioned is directly above another piece of track. You can't really "change" the support. :(

LDW: I wanted colours that blend in but don't stand out. The "first choice" white would stand out WAY too much. The colours of the buildings and area surrounding it would separate it from the park even more. If you have another colour choice in mind, please state them. :)

The chain link fence is like a fence surrounding a restricted area.

Six Flags doesn't use it. Disney definatly doesn't use it. I mean, I can understand if it had something to do with an urban theming. But what you've done here is reversed. Usually, it's the coaster track that's at ground level that has a fence around it. I figure, if a path can be built beneath it, then it doesn't need a fence. I'd just place a fence around the "accessable" portions of the track. So that only the dangerous parts of the coaster are protected. Like at five ft. above the land and lower. In the image, the entire path is fenced off. It looks like a prison fence. It looks overdone & ugly.
