I'm pleased to say that the new Ride Exchange is open for people to view, search and download rides.

Uploading is still not possible as there is a bug that is proving difficult to remove.

There is currently NO cap on downloads.

Known Bugs can be seen in the new Bug System.

New Features

  • The RCT1 and RCT2 Exchanges have ben combined into a single Exchange
  • You'll find that members' profiles have features to let you find the most recent rides uploaded by individuals
  • In your own User Control Panel (My Settings) you can setup default filters on the Exchange that will be used every time you visit.
  • These can also be temporarily overridden using the 'Advanced Filters' button. These are remembered up to 1 hour after you leave the board, then the Exchange reverts to your defaults.
  • Filtering is now only 1 screen (it was 3 before)
  • You can rapidly sort by Most Recent, Excitement, Intensity & Nausea with a single click.
  • You can jump to rides beginning with a certain letter
  • You can select ANY page number rather than first, previous, next, last
  • You can choose how many rides to display per page
  • Thumbnails now expand using the rather lovely 'Lightbox'

Was a member of the original Forum - Joined it to download the Original Steve Frank's Masterpiece Coaster files whick I still enjoy placing in the various scenarios where appropriate. So far I like what I see here - good work to all the folks who worked so hard to bring it to life and keep it alive and well. I do have a track or two ( and a landscape scenario ) I would like to share but I cannot upload the files - keep getting error code 309315.
