OK, here's the final version of the right side of "Colonial Square";
And here is the completed Horse Trolley building;
I thought about the dormers, but I like the roof line here. Maybe on the other side.
On to the Entrance area, and the left side of Colonial Square.
Enjoy!

I'm still lovin the park. Though Sambo has some good points, the themed architecture in your park, I believe, is very accurate. The changes to colonial architecture began during Britain's Edwardian period, and original "cotton ginny" industrial revolution which preceeded America's perfecting the factory economy in the late 19th century. Colonial architecture remained an American mainstay until the Edwardian style took over in the 1880's, though much of the Edwardian tastes, as well as Victorian tastes were incorporated into the richer colonial homes and towns in order to show off wealth. So your park is reflective of all that... whew, long way to go to say, nice park. Oh yeah, the carosel is a fantastic touch. Seriously dude, I'm thinkin' RCT3 now.

(No offense Sambo, I agree with your assesment as well, but see where Citytrader is getting his influences too.)

AAAAAAHHHH! I never realized there was an RCTSpace member living so close to me!
Seeing that I live no more than 45 minutes away from historic Fredericksburg, I can verify that your buildings look nearly identical to what's down there!
It seems that you've pretty much finished up the main square, but here's a few things that you might want to add just to make it feel a little more.....civil warish.
-Some buildings in historic fred'burg still have actual cannon balls lodged in them from the war. I don't know if you could do that, but this is a fun fact nonetheless.
-Perhaps you could find some space to squeeze in an apothacary? If you did, be sure to include an herb garden behind the building. (you could sell pet leaches there!!) Apothacaries were seen in almost every town, for back then doctors were very much needed during civil war times. Ugh, I still remember those pincers they used to take bullets out of wounds....yuk...
-I don't know if this is possible, but maybe you could have a field for a civil war reenactement. If that isn't possible (which it probably isn't ) just have an open field with a few cannons on one side. Remember, supposively you're building on historic land!
-Because of that, maybe you could put a few old looking brick buildings at the outskirts of the park. Just to give it the old historical feel.
Just a few of my billions of ideas I get everyday!
Park's looking great! Remember to not forget about the VP this time!
