:woot:
WHOA!
Sam the Eagle??
:geek:
Marc Davis created Sam in 1973 along with an owl, for America Sings an attraction in Disneyland.
An attraction that takes people through the musical history of America. The attraction closed in 1988.
And the two animatronic figures were eventually "recast" as characters in Splash Mountain.

So for a rather short lived attraction of just 15 years,
It's surprising that you were fortunate enough
to find an image of Sam for the entrance.
:thumbs:
Good call, and an excellent find for the theme of Disney's America.

Actually, this particular Sam the Eagle is the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic mascot. It was designed by the Disney studios.

And the Muppets have a "Sam the Eagle" as well.

Come to think of it... "Sam" seems to be a popular name for an eagle.

Here's clown alley!

And a closer look at the clown dog catcher car. You can see the elephant wagon and ride in the background;

Most of the objects on clown alley are CS.

Here's the facade of the Mudville baseball stadium. Perhaps Casey is at the bat;

Wow, the detail on that is amazing! I love your bunting above the Dog Catcher (the triangular flags on string). What kind of graphics card are you using? Detail like that must be chewing up its memory like a monster. BTW, is the Flying Eagle roller coaster a Steve Franks import or did you build it from actual designs for the park?

To be honest, I'm not sure if it is Steve Franks or not. Years ago, I imported most of his tracks, but since have renamed, renovated, removed, and several other "R" words all my track files.

I am not much of a coaster builder, and usually do use other's coasters. I will research this, and of course I will be very happy to give Steve full credit if in fact it is his coaster.

Lol, the mudville baseball stadium!

I used to LOVE that book. "Casey at the Bat". Cool idea there, Citytrader!
