Ah ha! I was selecting 'rides' and not 'staff'. :><:

Thank you very much!

Btw: I got most of my structures in place, a few nice things. Got my peep numbers up to 2730 by year 12 and then started to run into problems with all the peeps in cells 3, 4, and 5. So many tweeks!

Now I have to concentrate on the landscaping some more (trees, bushes, flowers, fences, walls, etc.).

Hope everyone else's parks are coming along.... we're in the home stretch.

Yeah...... After all of course it's just (nearly) the same as with the "normal" RCT-CS-Rules
If you let your park run for more than a few years, without renewing/adding rides, the whole park goes down and will attract less peeps, etc, etc. Let alone if you let it run for more than 10 years :woot:

Okay, there are some special rules here, I agree. (But for that even you have found the trainer  )

Btw: my park is doing great!!!! just with my lousy 4 cells (and , due to the special rules of the contest a lesser amount of peep-attracting coasters than with more cells, for as we know the maximum amount of peeps that RCT enables into a park is related to the amount of rides - and especially beloved coasters, the greater the capacity of that ones the more people RCT allows , combined with park-rating of it all);
2650 guests after 4 years. Quality 997 (have to rehire new handymen!!!, for I want 999, also after 4 years!!! ) Think I would do very well in the just-rides-and-peepfriendly-parks you love (only.... :ermm: it's not where my main interest/pleasure lays as long as it is not severely combined with the other possibilities of RCT2!)

No, I really did not test longer than 4 years. (Am sure I would have problems also after 10 years!!!)

I still have to do some "treeing-in" of the areas for which I don't have anymore time to place eye-pleasing archy in. Some other small things and a lot of necessary "finishng touches", and then I'll have to forget about the "wanted but not really necessary Finishing Touches" (okay, one cannot have everything).

Have Fun, really looking forward to see and especially RUN the parks!.

Well, I'm now treed in and just need some more finishing touches on the last three cells.

Then it's on to some naming, some 'special' naming, for the 'special' flat rides! :ermm:

Wow, 2650 in 4 years, it takes me 12!

I am having problems!

Planned to give my park a last test today (after making adjustments/nice things and some modifications, mostly for eyes sake but involving layout), but RL severely intervened today.

Just started testing 2 hours ago, and due to the changes, some cells don't work as they did before. :puke:

So either I have to solve these problems still, or go back to the former version (which is soooo incompleted yet in my eyes).

Only tomorrow left (have to check the deadline-time, though I know you guys overseas are a bit behind in the global time schedule :P ), and I also still have to do namings of staff and some "treeing" and many other small details. Why cannot I keep it "just simple" like Becky said???? :><:

Anyway, great contest, for it is giving me so much Fun! :D Hope it does also to all other ones that made and will submit an entry. :D

wow. ok well my park is very low considering i have not made it to the 1000! i think the size of my park wieghs down the peeps. as far as my park goes it is a preety park but not a working park. ill probably turn it around and make release it in the finished park section.... if im allowed. im pretty slow.lol

Emergo,

Here's the real deadline......

OK...time zone...I am EST, but believe me, I will not be checking the email box at Midnight, January 29, in fact, I won't be checking it until January 30, around 5:00PM EST....so there...you have a little leeway.

So that should give you like what, Monday at 11 PM your time?

I finally finished my park. Well, as complete as it'll get. I probably could have done a few more things with the extra time. Never did get around to naming the staff. I had a hard enough time with keeping the peeps in line and the making the archy.

Needed a break, this was some competition, not used to all this extra work to get a park in tip top shape.

Becky, Thanks so much for a wonderful, fun and challenging contest. Can we start a thread to post screenshots or do we have to wait until the winner is announced?

Emergo, Thanks for all your help and inspiration in making my park a success.

Can't wait to see everyone's park. B)

Becky,

Make sure you get my third version. I forgot to add a 'no entry' sign to an escape path that I had tweeked on Sunday.

Just a reminder to everyone who is entering, especially if you're making any last minute revisions like I did, don't forget to double check paths for proper 'no entry' signs.

Good Luck! B)

Sent mine in, it's pathetic... :P

I haven't worked on it since the beginning of December. Real life just has a way of ruining my fun! So, I think we should have special awards given out to those who entered.. Especially a "most disappointing entry" award!

The other day, I thought I had a few minutes to get some work done, (paths, that's right folks, I don't even have a functioning park  ) I noticed some pretty annoying glitches with my scenery. I don't think I'll ever use trainers to build through or stack scenery again!

On the other hand, I can't wait to see what others have done, it'll give me a good taste of what could have been. It's official, RCT deadlines just don't suit my lifestyle.

Thanks for putting this together Becky! Even though my ideas never fully materialized, it was fun anyway.
