No need to do anything...you can leave it in there if you want OR you can delete it once you view the park. It doesn't do anything to your settings or mess with the game in anyway. It just basically adds another music choice to your rides.

Besides, if you really don't want to bother with it, then don't. You can still view the park :)

I was wondering if anyone was going to try to do something like #19. It's very well done and will probably make my top 4.

Park NINETEEN:

WINNER! :wait:

A McCoy finally got me!

Becky, can we still vote for second place? Maybe two categories, another McCoy and a Hatfield?

No. have not yet viewed NINETEEN.

And although I get the meaning perfectly, could someone explain why you call it "McCoy" versus "Hatfield" (for me/us non-American/English ones?

Thanks in advance :D

The McCoys and Hatfields were families in the American Old West that fought each other. Not sure what that has to do with RCT....

Thanks! That explains a lot already.

I do have a bright imagination, so until someone proves me wrong, I'll think then that one of the families loved to "ride and fight" and the other family just wanted the time to build nice houses (without favouring one over the other, for every family would certainly have had it's own good reasons, noble ones as well as selfish ones, going for both of them).

The Hatfield-McCoy feud (1860–1891) is an account of American Lore that has become a metaphor for bitterly feuding rival parties.

I used the Hatfield-McCoy analogy to describe the two different perspectives that RCT2 park builders demonstrate as can be observed in the nineteen parks so far submitted.

On one side, there are park builders (Hatfields) that create parks that focus on pleasing the peeps' desire for an adrenaline rush and their subsequent hunger rush. These park builders use rides and shops to accomplish their objective.

On the other side, there are park builders (McCoys) that focus on pleasing peeps' visual experience. These park builders focus on building structures and landscape to accomplish their objective.

These two types of park builder's perspectives are orthogonal; one sees a 'good' park as having good rides and shops. Being too crowded in a 17x17 workbench is lesser a concern than having amusements to please the peeps. The other sees a 'good' park as maximizing the visual experience and crowdedness decreases that experience. There is lesser concern to please a peep's adrenaline or hunger rush.

I think that most Hatfield park builders like Hatfield type parks and McCoy park builders like McCoy type parks. Just look at some of the pre-voting already.

Park Scene NINETEEN focuses so much on the visual experience of the holidays (as I perceive them to be: xmas tree, toy train, presents), that I just can't feud over it! :P

EXCELLENT WORK NINETEEN! :woot:
