The reason is that, when a track goes from a drop, into a steeper drop, it doesn't look that great. Same thing when a hill changes it's slope half-way through. Just looks a bit strange. Wish I noticed that earlier.

In the images that you linked to, do you see that the hill changes pitch to a steeper angle after the curve? Or does the track kind of level out before the loop? The train's are moving at a fairly good speed when it hits a steeper drop. That's going to force the peeps into the shoulder restraints, giving them a big jolt to the top of their shoulders.
The original track configuration is in red, and a suggested change is in white.
It's hard to show you without adding a screen shot... I'll be happy to remove this image upon request.
