It would be more realistic if the Braben peep also had blinders on them so they could claim not to notice the game 'issues', and then if any other peep stopped to question them about the the bugs they could be seen to stomp off in a huff...

Yes, I doubt Sawyer will want to do much after that huge lawsuit... I guess he'll stay low for now.

No, from everything I read it certainly seemed that he was entitled to whatever settlement they came to. And in fact he did take some unfair flak when the lawsuit was first announced by people who either thought he was being greedy or didn't care about the series. Both were untrue. RCT has been one of the biggest selling PC games in history, and thus he deserves his share of that successs I think. It's too bad it took a lawsuit to get it, but that's the way of the world sometimes.

I come across sometimes as someone who's not very favorable of Sawyer, which isn't really true, I'm just more realistic than some of the fanboi-types who think he can wave a magic wand and everything they want in RCT will appear. He deserves all the credit in the world for coming up with the game in the first place, but it's grown beyond that over the years. Perhaps he'll okay something more down the road, perhaps he won't.

Hey thank you, grid_master! I didn't notice your post before about Locomotion, and i did not know about that game previous to that post. I have been sucked in for 5 days now, its exactly like rct 2 except with only transport rides, and its exactly like TTD. except with better graphix, thanks again!








PS: could we maybe get this thread made into a sticky/announcement? just a suggestion.
