It's not necessarily being enclosed that brings up the excitement ratings. It's having the ride themed that does it. It can be buildings, tunnels even foliage that bring up the excitement.
For instance, a ride that goes in and out of a hillside will rate higher than one that stays underground. Try to visualize it from a peeps point of view. What's EXCITING? Flying between buildings and dipping underground momentarily then, popping out of the tunnel to find yourself high above the trees?

The best excitement ratings usually come from a combination of things, open air camel humps, diving underground, slicing between hills and buildings, etc.

Theming a ride will NEVER bring down the intensity (sometimes even raises it just a little) but will
almost ALWAYS raise the excitement level.

Yeah "K_W", that's how I do it. Just think of yourself being up in the front row (if you actually like coasters). I like "head choppers" so I'm always sure to add one or two at certain spots in the ride, for example. It has nothing to do with being enclosed or out in the open, a good mix will add excitement and that's a GOOD thing. Just make sure the G's aren't in "the red" and your ride will be fine.

Ok all,
Fast but sweet verbal update on : In The Beggining Park ...
After alot of consideration and a major earthquake (for those who live in CA. ) lololololo...
I have decided to remove the crypt of horrors ( The Den ), for now to make way for a couple of rides. The castle area is being made smaller than what I wanted , but it has to be done...
The area is still large enough to do what I need to do , just not as large as it was....
So I have to redo alot of the area ( castle walls & more ), to make it look like King-Doms should look like.
All - In - All I am re thinking some of my plans and work..!!! Pics to come later ...

Your detail and patience has really paid oof, I would never be able to put that much effort in ever, I would give up before I had finished...

Believe me this project is intailling alot of my FREE time.
I do read and listen to the words you all say . I do take them in and see what I can do with all of your suggestions and ideas ..
So far you all have given me great insite on what can be done , and all I do is add the patience and effort = time to do such detailing. I know to some not are as good as they should be , but look what I have to work with ( lolololol).
Thank you all again and I am still bustig my CHOPS on this project ,It will eventually get done ( SOMETIME !! , WHEN ?? )..

Ok everyone ,
Ya Like my new avitar neat effect with neon. YES Real Neon It Is MY New Company Logo : Nighthawk Entrprzs Inc. It is for my Computer / DJ'ing Buissness In MD. Worked out better than I hoped it would.

I have to do this to let you all know that I do keep my word.. The guards at the north-east tower wanted you to know what they have to see . As they keep there posts and guard the park from invaders...
Here is what they see :


Heheehhee Yea I know its the back view of the main enterance way to the park ( remember that ???) but thats what they wanted me to do ....
As in previouse pics of the castle walls they are larger than the new ones. There is a lot of landscaping and stone work done.
The detailing I am taking my time and redoing alot things involved here and the rest of the park is going on as planned.


As you can see the stone is of varying colors and sizes , if you look into the outer parimiter walls you will see alot of work is done with those as well. I am not leaving nothing out , Bushes , Stones , Rocks , Trees ,Flowers and much , much more is involved .All within this one little corner of the Castle ( King-Doms ) Walls.


As You ca see there are some open/blank/ areas those will be finished in the very near future , ... Yes there will be trees in those areas and even or maybe just a ride or two who knows with this park. It seems To Re-A-Range itself when the moment feels right. Then I have to go back and Re-A-Range it again 'till' I am satisfide with it ....

AND OF COURSE I AM LIMITED TO HOW MANY PICS AT A TIME SO SOME WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL I GET MORE DONE !!!!

Ok as most of you all know I am now officially in a club. In The Beggining is still under contruction as well. I am not putting that aside for no-one . This project is one of persivierence and accomplishment. I promised myself ( as well as the old man, remember him at the begining of the park??) that it will get done no-matter what I am doing.
I will post more and pics after the Hollidays .. There is another thing that some of you know what I am working on so PLEASE be patient and you will see that : In The Beggining will be updated and more intailed....
If I don't get back to this thread by Christmas ....... I just want to wish ALL OF YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

The Park is going well as planned . Just a few more things to do before I show what is and has been reconstructed. For now you will have to hold on I am enjoying my time OFF!! ..Just like being out of school . heheheheh .....V...A....C...A...T....I...O...N... T...I..M...E
