But, if I'm not mistaken, the game "Locomotion", was released after RCT3 (I think, I'll check wikipedia), and that game was made by Chris Sawyer, of course. And it had an isometric 2d view, with a little "added stuff" in there, such as the texture on the land, the water, and etc. It really brings back roots of "Transport Tycoon", but as for RCT, I'm not too sure.
If they made another RCT4, and Chris Sayer decides to go solo (or "back to the roots", said earlier), it would be nice; the game would be a beefed-up version of RCT2, with available compatibility with any of its predecessors, as well as more added stuff. There shouldn't be any add-ons, and here's why; it was good before, but now it's starting to really agitate us. Spending almost the same amount for an add on as you did the original, and for what? A few new rides, scenery, landscapes, and scenarios? IT would be best if they just released a full version with EVERYTHING on it, and not just add more stuff in for their mistakes (i.e the RCT3 series).

If Mr. Sawyer had any spare time, I'd beg him to patch both RCT1 and RCT2 to run on Vista! And while he was at it, fix the RCT2 bugs.
Sawyer had little, if anything to do with RCT3. Whetehr there is an official RCT3 sequel won't be constrained by his availability IMHO.

Take a look through the manuals for RCT3...it isn't Chris Sawyer who makes the little 'facts and figures' posts about coasters and such - it's John Wardley. Many of those coaster types could have been his suggestions...but of course we don't know for sure. That's why we shouldn't attribute any of the game's positives (or negetives...) to Sawyer either - we just have no clue as to who did what. Based on what people have been reporting since before RCT3 was released, Sawyer's participation was supposedly limited.

Geez, and I really am one to look at the manuals all the time. I had forgotten about John Wardley. Guess for all we know, those coaster types could've been ideas of David Braben...I don't think that anyone can say that Sawyer was the reason those coaster types were included...he certainly isn't the only rollercoaster fan that worked on the project by any means!
