Park FOURTEEN is up for download in the first post....enjoy! :)

OH...btw, I forgot to say 2 days ago....

We are halfway through!

Park THIRTEEN - No name...Happy Holidays
I liked the reindeer coaster - Careening Caribou..nice name too! I liked the entrance building but the other building in the back probably had too many different wall textures which took away from the overall look of the building..nice park overall though.

Park FOURTEEN - Happy New Years!
Not Christmas for a change, this park was different, colorful, but interesting. Nice job :)

Park #14........something seemed eerily familiar here..........but, I liked it....although, trying to decipher the "happy new year" and "2006-2007" kind of made my brain hurt.

I liked the Baby New Year....and, the GIANT cocktail......I could use one of those right about now.......but, once again..........the hacking took away from this park. When I see a ride that's missing pieces until the cars pass through.....and then appear.........then disappear after the cars pass by..........well, it just takes away from the overall effect of whatever I'm viewing. The coaster itself was, IMO, rather bland anyway. Honestly, I'm not sure why the designer NEEDED to hack........seems like everything there could have been accomplished without it. Then again.....I never hack so, I wouldn't know.
The entrance to "Drop Your Resolutions" looked good from the front...........had it carried over to the rest of the building, I would have liked it more.
I also think that a couple of shops/stalls...or at LEAST some benches would have fit in nicely....there was plenty of room between the blocks.
Overall an entertaining...at least at first glance.....effort that, again.....reminds me of something that I've seen before.

Finally, Friday!..........and, it's actually cold and ready to rain in So Cal............lol.......since neither is real beneficial to me as, I'll be working tomorrow......in the rain

Anyway...Park #15........again, at first glance I LOVED this park!......Nice architecture, well planned....nice color scheme...........I thought that the archy was well done..........kind of basic, yet elaborate at the same time. It definintely was "Christmasy".......

After looking for a few minutes...........I thought that MAYBE a couple of shops or stalls could have been a better fit where the candy canes were and............"Tree Fall" broke down......and I realized that there were NO mechanics in the park........so, apparently...it's broken down forever......and, after switching views a few times I thought that maybe the designer could have done something different with all the windows on the otherwise wonderful entrance......the "ice blue" background only worked from one of the perspectives. From the other three, the blue didn't mix well with the red and green.

Overall, one of my favorites so far..........WELL DONE!

And.......since others are offering their "rankings"......here's MY top three so far......

Park #1
Park #12
Park #7

Have a GREAT weekend, everybody!!!!!

I have a lot of catching up to do.

#5 Downtown Christmas
Nicely put together, but I didn't like the fake queue. I mean, were they trying to save space? Then leave a lot of blank space where a queue could go? Not good. Plus I kept getting the messages, "Guests cannot enter Christmas Rush", which kind of deflated the enjoyment of the park with the Bee dee beep! every few minutes. The coaster itseld was very cool. The scenery and buildings were top knotch in my book, Very ornate. Gave you the OLde Tyme Christmas feel, you know?

#6 HH2006Entry
Okay, the coaster was interesting, and the cliff it was perched upon was almost interesting. All the ice textures hurt my eyes. I'M SNOWBLIND! It was all icy-blue. BTW: Didja notice the River Rapids ride? You wouldn't know it was there unless you key-up Transperent Scenery. So, at this point, I think this park had the most rides, (6). Could of used some colors or some achy. Nice, but better luck next year.

#7 Noel Town
More like your typical small town park kind of thing. Two restrooms, two hot drink stalls, and a kiddie ride. Someplace to dump the kids while you go holiday shopping! Archy could of used some vaiables in the colors. As it is, it looks like one big mish-mash of a castle, or maybe a palace. Not very hometown feel to it. Nice concept, not so nice technique.

#8 Blue Christmas
Not to pass judgement on the park or it's basic color pallette but, Who started this "Blue" thing for christmas was a good idea? It's nice when mixed with other christmas colors, like lights on the tree and ornaments, but this is gross. JMO. The archy is great in this park. I thought it was planned well, but it could of used a few more elements in the coaster's track. But that blue! Bah Humbug!

#9 Freizeitpark zu Weihnachten
Don't ask me to pronounce it. must mean that they have a thing for the steel wild mouse track. Other than that, nothing really tripped my trigger for this park. About the only thing that was christmasy about it was the tracks for the coasters. But at least they managed to install two tracks. Everything else seemed geared to "winter" not christmas. Nice, but nothing really special about it.

#10 Mele Kalikimaka
One nice coaster with a track hack. Nice different theme. Reminds me of where I live, Florida. Track had decent ratings even though it was slow through the inversion. Nice & twisty. But since it didn't come through with the christmas theme, (mostly another "winter" park,) I can't say this was a fav.

The scenery and buildings were top knotch in my book, Very ornate. Gave you the OLde Tyme Christmas feel, you know? Could of been better. Must of been made by someone who doesn't do "Peep Parks". But I'm too busy to fix it. It did make it into my fav list though.

One nice coaster with a track hack. But the entry & exit huts were left off the coaster, so it didn't run until I figured out what was going on. Nice different theme. Reminds me of where I live, Florida. Not a clue to the christmas season. Track had decent ratings even though it was slow through the inversion. Nice & twisty. But since it didn't come through with the christmas theme, (mostly another "winter" park,) I can't say this was a fav.

#11 Gutes, Deutsches Weihnachten
Ok, I almost choked on my tounge trying to pronounce this. My dog had to perform the heimlich manuver on me. ;) Er, um. What happened to the theming of this park? Did the Grinch stop in for a visit? :puke: Another "winter" park and zip on the christmas feel.

#12 Its A Wonderful Life
Its A Wonderful Park! Nice archy, decent log flume, (but a log flume wouldn't of been my choice, but it ain't my park, so what the hey?) Nice colors, nice trees, snowman in the backyard. Definatly a keeper.

#13 Happy Holidays 2006 (13)
Few rides, but nicely put together. I like the layout of the reindeer single rail coaster. As for the park, it's not a lot, but it's just enough to give you a bit of christmas. Well done. Another fav.

#14 Happy Holidays 2006
Imaginative? Yes.
Colorful? Yes.
Christmasy? No.
Wintery? Yes.
Favorite? No.
Who's the guy with the innertube? Don't know.
Why is there track missing and it's not running? Don't know.
Is that a champagne Glass? I guess.
You gonna drink it? EEhhhh, No.
Could of used white water in it instead. I know.

#15 Happyholidays-ChristmasLand
Nice archy, if you don't look behind the bigger buildings. Three flats, no coaster, boring. Spent a lot of time with archy and not enough time on adding attractions. Favorite? Nope.

So far my favorites are...
#1 A Christmas Fantasy
#5 Downtown Christmas
#12 Its A Wonderful Life
#13 Happy Holidays 2006

I don't care how many I end up with, I'll trim the list later.
