^Pretty sure RCTHelp figured out that one RCT year equals one real hour, and one RCT month equals 7.5 real minutes...

Edit: Oh, and RCT only has 8 months...

I'm not sure what I admire more, the actuall rides and archy, or the obvious fact of how much time and effort, not to mention forthought, went into what is easily becoming one of my favorite parks ever. Having spent an hour last night going over what I saw here, I wish I had more to say. I'll try to stay on top of this topic so I can contribute more. Love it though, really love it.

P.S. Can you please PM about the club. Am I still in? I got a little lost when I logged into the Pirate Space, it was not a lack of interest.

You're still in as long as you register.

Here's a sort of observation tower.
I got a bit of inspiration from the Effel Tower.
The main supports are B&M track & an elevator runs up the center.

In earlier images, I saw an elevator standing out in the middle of nowhere. Is this the elevator I saw?

There was? I don't remember an elevator standing out in the middle of nowhere.

But no, this was a project I created last night. More or less "experemental". But it's not standing in the right spot. It's slightly off to the left in the last image I posted. I can save the scenery with the elevator, But the B&M track has to be created custom, because an attraction cannot save another attraction as "scenery".

So to satisfy the "balance" I want to create in the park, overall... I plan to move it closer to the midway, and so that it lines up with the 45 deg. angle through the divisions of the park.

That elevator looks freaking awsome!

I love it, looks very tomorrowlandish.

That's really pretty freakin' sweet. Although you might consider maybe having the B&M
track parts less 'twisty' to give it a more streamlined look. And, while I realize that you're
going for an obviously futuristic, white, kind of 'sanitary' feel here...just a touch of color
on the observation deck area might make it pop just a little.

Nicely put K_W. But I was trying to blend the arches at the bottom, into the track that becomes the virtical supports. Since the Effel Tower is pretty curvy in it's own right, I wanted to do something along those curved features, yet maintain the sleek futuristic theme of the park. Taking a second stab at the project is going to make it blend even better too. I didn't want crappy looking dead-end track sticking out, and making it look hap-hazzard, and piece-meal. It has to "flow".

And yes, I definatly WILL try to put some sort of color into the tower. It was something I was thinking about when I zoomed out for the screenie. (Then I noticed it was off center a few tiles on the diagonal.) The steep twists had two track sections that retained a "Ghost Image" of the track segment. And a segment of the lower arches, just where they meet with the "branch-off" of the twisted virticals, (Look closely, and you'll see that a few sections are a bit "whiter" than the rest of the track.) So I was trying to hide that with the paint color of the track. But the elevator tower along with the abstract elements would definatly be colorable.

When I rebuild the attraction in it's "proper" location, it'll definaly give me the time I need to figure out what color(s) to use. And a whole lot of ZC was goin' on as well.

Well, I took some time off for good behaviour.
Now I'm back at bein' bad again.

I did a bit of redesigning, and I think I came up with something better than the original design. For instance, near the bottom of the first tower, I had something of a horizontal crossbar-like structure element. I decided to loose that. Those funky cone-like things as anchors to the legs were just too big. So I decided to go with a glass roof & wall structure instead. And I tried to use a bit of color in the project too.

I did manage to make a discovery along the way though. If you've ever gone into the realm of build-through, you might notice a track section or two MIGHT appear in a ghostlike image. This is super easy to get rid of. Just click on the track, somewhere down the line, from the ghost image, so that it flashes white, or whatever color you use. Then use the forward and backward arrows on wither side of the bulldozer.

Position the selected track section, (flashing in white, or whatever,) and select the track section that appears in the ghost white. Then click on the bulldozer and the white ghost track image should disappear.

Oh yeah... the new and relocated tower.... Enjoy!
