I've had to delete a number of forum posts recently either asking for, or advertising places where copies of RCT2 and/or Wacky Worlds can be got.

Copying of software is ILLEGAL. It is against the site charter at this link.

Please read the charter carefully. Look what we promise to do for our site visitors, and look what we ask visitors to do. It's a 2 way street in my opinion.

With immediate effect: Anyone posting about copying software will be suspended from the forums.

Thank you Rcthelp. I would like to give my opinion about downloading the game:

DON'T DO IT!!! I can't express enough how important that is. Sure, It only started with a few people going to Napster but look how it ended! The only thing that downloading does is STEAL. That's right you are STEALING. You are a theif. You wouldn't go to the store and shoplift a computer game and you shouldn't do it here. All you are doing is taking away money from someone who has made a really great game. You may not like the game, but you shouldn't STEAL it.

Also, you may think"It's only one little download, it won't hurt anyone" but the truth is you are supporting the over 1000 people who have reportedly already done it. You are supporting criminals!!! Don't do it, please.

I will say it again: Don't Do It

Yeah! Copying software is illegal! Yet... hacking into the game and changing things isn't! Yeah! Grrrrrrrrrrrr... ummmmmmmm. I'll do it still. I don't care much about copying software, just downloading it. ;) LOL

Actually hacking into the game and changing things is against the user license agreement you agreed to when installing the software.

You can't hack into games, I never knew that!!! Are trainers illegal?

Not illegal, if not distributed for money. But if you have a problem with the game after using one, you can't use customer support. I still use trainers though.

Who actually takes the time to read the EULA?
I only do that when I have nothing better to do...

I will not let a small text file change my life. So neither should you.
I am agianst downloading ROMs, Warez, and other junk like that but not agianst trainers. No way!

!!!VERY IMPORTANT!!! Just found this on another website:

Downloading is not stealing, it is copyright infringement. Many people do not know the difference but there is one major one, copyright infringement is a civil offence, whereas stealing is illegal. If you don't believe me, just ask these guys I have heard of called THE SUPREME COURT.

By the way, this makes it no better to download and linking to a site for downloading it is still against forum rules.

Also, I don't know if the fact above is true, I saw it at the official site and thought I should post it, please tell me so I can edit the post if the fact is wrong.

EDIT: I still am against any kind of downloading and just wanted to clerify that for anyone who is curious. I support Atari and don't want anyone to download their files without buying the game.

DON'T DO IT

Whoa, I'm not against trainers that aren't illegal. (Wow, that statement is gramatically correct with a double negative.) I'm only against stuff that is illegal when it comes to copyrights.

For some humor on this click here.
